Man, this commercial sure makes me miss the old commercials- the ones that were genuinely funny not because they were trying to be, but because they were so over the top and cheesy.
HOLY CRAP, Mario is on STEROIDS!!! Exactly the type of commercial that I expected that came out in the '80's with head bashing against a wall, coke sniffing music.
That's probably because the only phone linked to that number is sitting in an abandoned old Nintendo of America Building next to the Giant Expanded Nintendo of America building.
This isn't even the original Nintendo Power commercial, and I can't find it anywhere on Youtube. The commercial consists of a boy named Tony entering some 'dream' before he hears the words 'Your Nintendo Power's here'. I can't remember most of it but I remember the closing words "This is no dream. Call [this number] to order. Now you're playing with power! Nintendo Power!" Then, a pair of 'issues' appear on screen. I miss that one terribly.
