The speedometer thing's battery's leaked on mine and I've got battery crap inside the Powerball, and after my attempts at cleaning, it still doesn't spin properly :(
Yer they are good but it doesn't take much for them to go wrong. You need to take such good care of them it is unreal. So what is your record? Mine is a lame 9747.

I cannot even open my signature powerball, I hit it hard with my fist where the screw hold is, still wouldnt open even use your method...
Will that deform the shells though?

NEVER use this technique. It could damage your giro. Use the one from dmitrek. Much safer.

I opened with this technique aprox 200 Powerballs and nothing happend.
If you know to use it, use it like that way.

Lol I had the same problem. My dad couldn't do the thumb flick technique so he decided to use the carpet. Damn him! Got a new one now though.
