Time tells all. Have now listened to several versions of this. Song that I thought I liked years ago.. Now not sure why. Did any of these guys find success with other bands or did they just split?
@hottracksable There are no versions to this; the, "ECHOE'S" made it; Tommy Duffy, lead. They have ALL found success; firstly, in themselves! They are still best of friends & perform together; selectively..........................Di :)
I heard this only once before, Christmas of 1969. I will always remember and miss Jennel, my first love and my "Baby Blue," who smiled and blushed when this song came on the radio and I couldn't stop looking at her.
All I can say is WOW. I would have loved that record under my Christmas tree!! This is only the 2nd time I've ever heard the song...it sure raises my spirits (and it's not even Christmas).
The sound of the season that was never played over the air waves so many moons ago. Such a shame. However, through the internet, and You Tube it's great to hear Christmas Doo-Wop, the greatest sounding music to one's ear.
Thank you for sharing this. I always loved the Echoes...and of course, Baby Blue.

Despite ladydi0218 and her obvious connection... sucks. Sorry. Wish it weren't so.
