Lucky Luke was always the coolest possible protagonist for me and will always be. Seeing this put into animation is just outright kickin'. I love all the quick visual gags -- the bartender sliding the glass, all the cards falling out of the gamblers' sleeves...excellent.

i heard one of the reasons they stopped Lucky Luke was because he smoked and thats not "child friendly" i guess watching badly drawn cartoons filled with cartoon violence is more "child friendly"

I grow up in germany and in europe,this cartoon "lucky luke" was the main cartoon everyone loved and known...when I moved to the US...to this day, I ask people if they know or watched Lucky Luke, I could not find one single person that even heard of that cartoon..I have been in the U.S. for over 12 years...can any US born tell me,if this cartoon was ever broadcast in the United States? and why NO ONE knows about this brilliant funny cartoon,that took over europe,a decades ago

I have no idea why. I'm American, and I like Lucky Luke too. I also like Tintin and Asterix. I guess we have different tastes compared to Europe. I think the Canadians like to get European stuff, so why not ask them?
