When this album came out I was cruising in my 1980 turbo Trans Am with the T tops off,with this cassette in the player.Where have all the good times gone?Those were really good times for me!I wasn't married no kids and had babes running our my ears!Love em and leave em just like KISS said!Naw not really.I had some hot ones that wasn't no one night stands.Dawg I miss those days.HUM,there was Lisa,Amy,Renee,Tonya,Terri,Lin­da,Darlene...oh my I"m sorry I was back in the 80's baby!

I'll probably be killed for even mentioning his name, but the good times ended when Sammy left the band. Van Halen was completely badass before him and with him they were arguably as good or better, but as soon as he left, VH lost what made them the best band in the world. Tattoo and the three songs that were written for the album Best of Both Worlds are absolute proof of this. Van Halen's worst song before those four, David or Sammy, is still way better than them.

Van Halen with DLR and Sammy Hagar kicked ass. I was a Van Halen nut the first time I heard Atomic Punk in 1978 I was 11 years old. I was a Hagar fan for life in 1979 when I heard Montrose. Can I get a hell yah "Rock Candy". This music is timeless. Van Halen is kick ass.

@rd80schild Me too. I discovered VH, or at least really paid attention to them with the 'Fair Warning' album, pretty much MY Van Halen 1. I saw them 'live' twice with Sammy. If i could have saw them with Dave i would have, but i think ppl are crazy to put down the Sammy era, when you can arguably say their biggest hit came - 'Right Now' - in the Sammy era. Both fit perfect. I was devastated when i heard they broke up, but to me, Sammy made sense, to be the one to keep the band going.
