(Continuing) Freedert's soul resided in the painting along with the second hand of time, so when the sword (elliot's soul) stabbed Freedert, their souls were finally merged together just like in the altered story! omg...it's so bitter sweet

Ok I think I have this down: Elliot found out what Freedert had done to save him, after stabbing himself with that sword, his soul left his body and went into the sword. That explains the "glow" when the niwa family was talking about it. It would make sense since Freedert told Daisuke that Elliot's soul was in another "vessel"....
