my niece has this set, the food-poop pellets are coated steal or somthing, they're picked up by the magnet in the poop scoop, then put in the trash pail, which channels them back into the food box. My niece loves it, but i still can't believe mattel made this thing. shoot, the comercial looks like an SNL spoof!
