my friend and i watched this on netflix and halfway through we realized that the title had not yet come into play. we figured it would become evident by the end of the movie but as it turns out we were wrong. i have spent the last half hour looking online to find out the meaning of the title but i have come up empty handed. somebody please help. i will not rest until i discover the hidden meaning behind "the killing jar"

I thoroughly enjoyed this film on kookíca. the movie was very gripping and suspenseful. This is not to say that it was a perfect movie, but it was very good in general. Definitely should see it if you're into action, but not gory, films.

For low-budget indy movie this was very good. I liked story concept, i liked plot, ending not so much but it was ok i guess.

Movie shows human's dark psychological side, fact that you can think the person next to you is true goodie, but in reality he is disgusting murderer and while everyone seems ordinary, people around you have terrible secrets

+ Machete is in this movie.

Michael Madsen and Harold Perrineau stole the show but everyone else was also decent.

I'll give it 2,75/5.

This movie surprised me as well since most thrillers of 2010 are absolutely garbage.

The plot was original and straightforward - and in a good way(not like most crap that gets released).I'm trying to remember what this movie resembles, but It def had a Vacancy/Disturbia 2007 theme and feel to it - - but stuffed in a single slot chassis and done in a sophisticated manner.

Harold Perrineau played his role lovely & Michael Madsen was terrific. Predictable, but fantastic film

It's actually a great movie. The story is amazing, the plot is brilliant, all the actors did a great job except the waitress, her acting is just..straight up shitty...maybe the dialogue at some points is a little shaky, but its still a brilliant fuckin movie. Theres alot of good actors,like the black guy from Lost, Mr.Blue from reservoir dogs(also blayed in kill bill), the bald guy with the beard which name I can't remember, the mexican guy who play in allmost every action movie,just...watch it

@markyoungfilms oh except the ending, when It was at the end, I thought the contract killer is going to be unchained by the waitress, then in return hes going to give her half the money coz she saved him and coz she killed the guy so that's half the money. Her first hit. It would've been a much more brilliant ending that way, like the ending is the birth of a new contract killer woman yuo know...meh what do I know..I'm gonna go play WoW now, hf cu cu :D
