@Henninway There are two people with yellow jackets. Just search for "Mcnish donington." and click the first clip. On a second angle you clearly see they guy gets hit and does not get up. Though what you might have seen was him bouncing back up a bit from the impact.

Sehr gut! Vor allem die Live Kommentare gefallen mir. Bei 3:25: Der Crash passierte in Laguna Seca in Amerika. Eine tolle Strecke. Die Moto GP ist dort jährlich zu Gast. Die Korkenzieher Kurve ist ja legendär. Wär auch ein selektiver Kurs für die Formel 1. Aber leider hat sich die Formel 1 schon in Indianapolis blamiert.

@TittyTittyBangBangXX If you look closely the bloke that ran into the back of them was tucked up behind the car in front and ran wide possibly due to the lack of downforce from following traffic closely, and im pretty certain that the marbles/dirt off the racing line didnt help matters. Im so glad that people like you are not race officials. To think anyone would choose to drive into the accident purposely at that sort of speed is damn right dumb.

0:05 - a huge berm near the racing line

1:23 - Interlagos turns 11 and 12 walls WAY too close at the fastest section

2:30 - a DITCH beside of the road

2:38 - a low wall with no retaining fence

3:16 - TWO dead end walls right next to the racing line

How were these track ever deemed "safe to race"?

And the driver at the end is a bonehead, lucky to be alive. STAY IN THE CAR!

I was there at Donnington when McNish had his crash.

I was on the opposite side of the track and I saw his car come over the wall, the engine broke away from the chassis and went into a bunch of spectators.

I saw one man in a yellow raincoat get hit by the engine - it seemed to fall straight down on top of him.

McNish was ok but sadly the guy in the yellow coat died, -we heard it on the radio on the way home.
