this is a really cool trick but I think Dynamo does it a better way, he shows the normal coin and then places the bent coin into a glass and shakes it around in the glass to show it has bent. Its really cool!

@LVL100000 Thanks! Sorry about it being off camera... I would suggest making the switch using eye contact to direct the spectator's eyes to which ever hand you wan them to watch. Hope this helps a little
you could have the bent coin in one hand the use the other to "put" the coin in that hand squeeze your hand shut and act like your bending it with one hand.

It's also unethical to expose secrets invented by other magicians. I would never do such a thing. I want to see you invent your own magic and expose it here on Youtube for free... after all, you want them to learn some cool tricks no?

@BeanoJosh YEs but it took a lot of effort to get to the real secrets of magic. The books in the bookstore would only teach you very basic self workers that did not reveal the fundamentals of magic. For these one had to put lots of effort into it. You had to be member of a society and 'earn' a secret by showing your passion and working hard.

In that case, you can do that with some beginner tricks that are easy to do. But please do not expose fundamental secrets like the double lift. A lot of my work relies on that, and you are making it harder for me to approach a table and entertain people with magic, because every now and then someone around the tabl has seen an exposure video like yours and will ruin the trick. @magicator I make these videos to teach people very basic magic tricks that allow them to entertain people and brighten up their day. If a person goes onto youtube and types in "Magic Tricks Revealed" or "How to do Magic" clearly they want to learn how to do some easy magic tricks, who knows, maybe that person will someday grow up to be a magician too. @TAGSmagic This is true. I'm a pick up artist, and initially magic was simply a way to pick up girls ( which it has), but it unexpectedly led me down a path to want to become a magician. I primarily learn tricks on YouTube or other web sites, so you are doing me a major favor by providing me with these tricks. Kudos to you.
@MrJohnnyHiggs Lol really? Cool!! Another jackpot of tricks you can use are on You Tube by a British illusionist named David Penn. His tricks are simple and THOROUGHLY impressive!! Bling Fling works on married woman with a ring (of if you have a small peacocking ring that will fit), Match Back stuns everyone (I have an alternative version I might show in the future) too!!
@MrJohnnyHiggs Another good one is a Zippo trick that works as a magic trick (and a great DHV) that is called Twilight Zone; you can also find that on You Tube. I use that later after a couple magic trick DHV's, or, alternatively, you can use it as a way to open up to a HB if she asks you for a light!
Why don't you teach them your own tricks, rather than the secrets of someone else? Would you like me to reveal an idea of your own on Youtube? Of course I am assuming here you are talented enough to come up with your own tricks, which, considering your morals, seems rather unlikely.
TAGS, there isn't much point in teaching people basic magic tricks by putting a video on Youtube. The whole point of magic is that it's a secret. If anyone can find the trick on Youtube, then the trick is useless.
Also, why not teach your own tricks rather than the tricks from other creators?
@magicator I live in Japan, and I perform a trick where i make some eyeliner appear on the person's palm. Despite the fact that this trick is widespread, thanks to national exposure on TV, guess what? I still routinely trick people!
Most people don't watch these video's, and even if they seen it, most people forget the trick. In the (rare) case that someone knows the trick, as long as they are having fun (as is 99% of the time) then the trick has succeeded in its purpose: entertaining people.
@KingJapanPUA Clearly, you don't perform or else you would know.... once the secret is revealed, the trick is over. The magic is ruined. People have no more interest in the trick as they go "oh I know that one!" no matter how entertaining you are trying to be. Magic IS entertaining. When you see something seemingly impossible, that is spectacle.

@magicator Simple. Perform another trick. Eventually you'll have one he doesn't know. (And if you're a professional as you say you are, you probably have at least ONE mind blowing trick).
Occasionally , you'll get a heckler (we all get them from time to time) who will be unimpressed. Usually, they are trying to impress someone nearby. If the other person is impressed, the heckler actually appears very try-hard, and it backfires in their face.

A lot of my work relies on that, and you are making it harder for me to approach a table and entertain people with magic, because every now and then someone around the tabl has seen an exposure video like yours and will ruin the trick. Magic is a secret-based art and I hope you understand you are destroying it .

I am a professional magician, and my job relies on secrets. People pay me to fool them. People like you make my job harder and believe me, in these days working as a magician and relying on it to sustain a family ain't easy. I really have to wonder.... WHY? @magicator I make these videos to teach people very basic magic tricks that allow them to entertain people and brighten up their day. If a person goes onto youtube and types in "Magic Tricks Revealed" or "How to do Magic" clearly they want to learn how to do some easy magic tricks, who knows, maybe that person will someday grow up to be a magician too. I'm very sorry about how you feel but I think that teaching people that are interested in magic is very important. Thanks for the comment, Tom.

@TAGSmagic This is true. I'm a pick up artist, and initially magic was simply a way to pick up girls ( which it has), but it unexpectedly led me down a path to want to become a magician. I primarily learn tricks on YouTube or other web sites, so you are doing me a major favor by providing me with these tricks. Kudos to you.

@MrJohnnyHiggs Lol really? Cool!! Another jackpot of tricks you can use are on You Tube by a British illusionist named David Penn. His tricks are simple and THOROUGHLY impressive!! Bling Fling works on married woman with a ring (of if you have a small peacocking ring that will fit), Match Back stuns everyone (I have an alternative version I might show in the future) too!!

@MrJohnnyHiggs Another good one is a Zippo trick that works as a magic trick (and a great DHV) that is called Twilight Zone; you can also find that on You Tube. I use that later after a couple magic trick DHV's, or, alternatively, you can use it as a way to open up to a HB if she asks you for a light!

TAGS, there isn't much point in teaching people basic magic tricks by putting a video on Youtube. The whole point of magic is that it's a secret. If anyone can find the trick on Youtube, then the trick is useless.
Also, why not teach your own tricks rather than the tricks from other creators?

@magicator I live in Japan, and I perform a trick where i make some eyeliner appear on the person's palm. Despite the fact that this trick is widespread, thanks to national exposure on TV, guess what? I still routinely trick people!
Most people don't watch these video's, and even if they seen it, most people forget the trick. In the (rare) case that someone knows the trick, as long as they are having fun (as is 99% of the time) then the trick has succeeded in its purpose: entertaining people.

@KingJapanPUA Clearly, you don't perform or else you would know.... once the secret is revealed, the trick is over. The magic is ruined. People have no more interest in the trick as they go "oh I know that one!" no matter how entertaining you are trying to be. Magic IS entertaining. When you see something seemingly impossible, that is spectacle.

@magicator Simple. Perform another trick. Eventually you'll have one he doesn't know. (And if you're a professional as you say you are, you probably have at least ONE mind blowing trick).
Occasionally , you'll get a heckler (we all get them from time to time) who will be unimpressed. Usually, they are trying to impress someone nearby. If the other person is impressed, the heckler actually appears very try-hard, and it backfires in their face.

@magicator Irregardless, it's something you'll have to deal deal with. Suck it up. You don't think comedians or musicians don't deal with hecklers/haters? They get it all the time. Why you don't have a method to deal with people like that is beyond me. You can't expect people to stop teaching magic to the public simply because it inconveniences you. We want to learn, and like it or not, there are people kind enough (TAGSmagic) to teach us.

@magicator I hate to break it to you but the world does not revolve around you. I do not make these videos to "ruin your job" or anyone else's for that matter. I make these videos so I can earn a small income for myself and more importantly, teach people simple and fundamental magic tricks so that an average person can entertain and brighten up another persons day. I can not even begin to fathom how a grown man can possibly think that I am making videos to ruin someones job.

see there was this kid at my school who if you would give him a copin or your key he'll bend it and give it right back to you. He bent my key twice. And my quarter too. plus i gave him a 2010 potorico(cant spell just sounding it out) coin and he bent that like it was butter.

It's ONLY illegal IF he then somehow intends to defraud someone with said defaced currency. If he somehow alters currency and tries to pass it off for greater than face value THAT would be illegal. Simply bending a coin means nothing. Haven't you seen those penny bending machines? People make rings out of coins too it's all legal.

What a moron . He took his hands out of the view of the camera and switched to a bent coin. Then he hid the bent part and moved his hands a lot and then rotated the coin to show it was bent.
