I'm an ex-homosexual. Yes it is a sin. U cannot.. I repeat cannot.. be gay and a Christian. It's not possible. Too many gays try to justify it. "God made me this way" etc. No He didn't! Its a lie that Satan wants u to believe.
Leviticus 18:22 says it clearly if mankind lies with man they have created an abomination. Homosexuality is a sin. God hates sin but he has forgiveness. Although it is a sin we shouldn't condemn the homosexuals of America. It says so in 1 Corinthians 6:9. Im not gay but I'm certainly not prejudice against homosexuals either.
Try going out in public and abusing a black guy! U wont, Coz Now the bible doesnt support it even after u try to misinterpret n mistranslate it.
But u can abuse a gay, coz there is still some Christians living in prejudice! N mistranslating the bible to support prejudice for these people re still very common....
Its only a minor penalty for this preacher! A 2 day visit in prison should have been compulsory for this guy!
so i was thinking that if homosexuality is wrong because it was not God's "will", because he wants a man and a women together SO THEY CAN REPRODUCE, then here's a list of other sinners for the same reason:
Homosexuality IS a sin. You can accept or deny it, but the Bible clearly states it. Saying "no no it isn't", doesn't make it less a sin. Oh you deceived ones.
in the bible it says a man who rapes a woman must marry her. so u can see why fundis are so screwed up i bet they would kill gay people if there goverment allowed it oh yeah the murder of gay people is in the bible too and witches and naughty children oh yeah lest we forget the slavery subject all those african people made slaves because the bible says its ok. wake up you blind ideot you have no right to judge others......
Freedom of speech is not designed for you to be able to stand on a street and make comments that may be deemed offensive. You are entitled to your opinion, you are NOT entitled to push that opinion upon others, especially in public! That's the reason why public order acts are in place. In my opinion, street preaching should be illegal.
@PaulieKeenan The gospel OFFENDS people with sinful ways and beliefs. That's how it is, and you know how to deal with it; accept God into your life, and become new.
I used the term queer in a general way not in a way to try to be mean or crude. I truly do hope that homosexuals will turn from their ways and find the Lord.
Of these queers don't like it they can suck it up it's not that people are trying to offend them it's warning them that if they don't change their ways they will stand before God Almighty in shame
In any event, the "gay" lobby has not only much freedom of speech" but also freedom to hold "Gay Pride" parades and such-like and if members of the public object.....it's just too bad! I say, God bless those street preachers who love their fellow man enough to warn them that "all shall stand before the judgement seat of Almighty God" one day! Hosanna! (Save us Lord!)
furthermore.... Our creator commands human beings to love one another, and real love means warning anyone (not just homosexuals) who contravene His law (or for that matter, "natural laws") Freedom of Speech? Obviously for some, but not for those who desire to see righteousness prevail.
Keep your religion to yourself coz otherwise ppl are gonna start thinking religion's no longer religion but a fascist ideology. The straight majority bullying the gay minority is downright evil. And against the law.
... and if I need the freedom of speech to say that red-haired people are devils and need to burn at the stake, black people are inferior and women do not deserve the same rights as man, jews are the plaque of the earth and need to be exterminated, will I these views be protected? No, I´ll be arrested.
But I guess you are not seeing any similarities here, right?
@TiKallisti I don't know where you live, but in the United States you CANNOT be arrested for any of those things. Also, please you better grammer. Im not sure what you mean by "Will I these views be protected?"
in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God
18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “(B)All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 [a](C)Go therefore and (D)make disciples of (E)all the nations, (F)baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
It it about time that the ten commandments were updated. How about getting the order sorted for starters. Murder should be the first one. Then second should be child abuse. That might not go down well with vicars and priests but their behaviour doesn't go down well with me. The guy in this video needs to understand that he is nothing more than a bigot hiding behind a stupid and dangerous religion. Stop polluting our streets with your drivel and lies. Time to do away with religion.
@27Riverdale Offense is taken not given; free speech is an integral part of western democracy, it is a right which should be exercised whether or not people are 'offended' by it.
@27Riverdale@27Riverdale Along with other commenators you obviously didn't listen to what Andy Robertson said. He made it clear he did not make any statements about homosexuality. x
If he was preaching the old Mormon views on black people he would have been arrested on the spot. Why is his hate-speech against homosexuality treated different?
Scientific progression would be extremely slow. This would prevent any major breakthroughs from ripping a community apart. As for rulers, a committee of leaders, being the smartest in a community, would govern the community. Their only involvement would concern changes of policy and ideas. Also, there would be no money and payment is anything one would like out of a set of predetermined rewards (example: a piano). Culture would be unrestricted so long as it did not attempt to chance society.
@coolbji: Re your vision of utopia/hell on earth: is this something you personally would actually like to happen? Just checking on whether I am talking to a person who likes to make utopic societies up or a complete psychopath.
hopefully it is also illegal for you to call anybody a sinner, effectively putting christianity out of business, becuase the whole concept of sin is predicated on hatred.
It's good that the officer was concerned about those whom you offended. It makes you look foolish to argue for the use of incendiary language towards those who should never be condemned by another. So, you might want to rethink what your language does before you attempt to defend Bashing Others For Christ Theology....
LOL The bible says nothing about being gay, not even mentiones the words gay, homosexual, bisexual ect. On another note it mentions nothing about lesbians either.
@BeauG92 Why don't you use your brain and study the rule of law of the UK and understand that free speech for the individual takes precedence over adverse emotional reactions by the individual? If you believe a righteous Bible preacher should keep his preaching to his church, why don't you say the same to the Jehovah witnesses who knock on doors, scientololist's at shopping center's or Islamic extremists at the 9/11 memorial? Truth is, your both ignorant and hypocritical.
I guess he should be stopped from saying lying and stealing is a sin he's preaching theifphobia and I am offended ,. becaue I have beena thief so he cant say adultery is sin because im offende and hes adulteryphobic. If he recites the 10 commandments he MUST STOP
Lolz people need to chill their tits. Why so anti-christian? Christianity holds our society together. If we didn't have it we would have peaked at small hunter gatherer civilizations. Without religion in general we would have an amoral world, which ,for %99.999 of population, would be near anarchy. I am not saying christiandom and moral religions are the best, i am simply saying they are incredibly important to our society. Throughout history one cannot deny this.
@coolbji actually, thats untrue... Morality was much better before religion... Religion, ESPECIALLY CHRISTIANITY, caused more deaths, torchure, and hatred than anything else. You can say religion is what made morals, but before religion was created there was morality. Look at other animals, they dont have religions and they live in perfect order. But theres one animal that has religion and its the Animal that kills and hates without stopping... Humans...
@wakygee I'm studying European history.. Imagine the world without Christianity. We'd be in little villages killing each other with basic values. The world we're in is so coddled.. it is pathetic. Christianity had it perfect about 800 years ago. There was no equality and some people had power and others didn't. The fear of damnation kept everyone in order. Then idiots like you killed god. You killed him dead. If you don't get the expression go look it up. Nietzsche said it.
@coolbji If the only thing keeping people from killing each other is the fear of damnation, then I'm glad all those idiots believe in God. Unfortunately, the "people in power" who instill that fear have too often used it for their own corrupt agenda.
@wakygee No god no masters.. Very dangerous.. However, I'm not totally against you. The men in power are incredibly weak. They are the weakest link in the whole system. Nothing you or I can do about it unfortunately. That corruption has nothing to do with Christianity. The corruption is a personal matter. If the men in power believed the bible and everything affiliated we'd be golden.
@coolbji The bible can be interpreted in too many ways for too many weak-minded power mongers and weak-minded fundamentalist lunatics; You can use it to justify killing, and you can use it to justify capital punishment for that killing.
The Koran is same kind of dangerous ancient book of deceit and confusion.
@wakygee There is no such thing as right or wrong. I am not arguing for Christianity over that. I am representing Christianity because it attempted to instate an objective system to keep the weak secure and working. It was ingenious. Trick all of humanity into solemn service. We need a system like it again ( I say again because we killed God and the original genius of the system). With obvious augmentations that is. A change being the introduction of uncorrupt leaders.
@coolbji Yes, I guess that would be the perfect Utopian World. Unfortunately, there are too many devious leader types willing to exploit and take advantage of the God Facade, and too few altruistic intellectual atheists able to convince the majority that the Golden Rule is a basic human principle, based on innate empathy and sympathy.
@wakygee And we reach a consensus. Oh and an atheist will commonly believe in morals but no god. You may be thinking of a nihilist. Their lives are ruled by absolutely nothing. I could go all into psychology of a crowd and how to control one but we've wasted enough time info trolling each other. I could also go into the pointlessness of life but that is merely irrelevant. Good Day.
@coolbji: "We'd be in little villages killing each other with basic values."
Which is basically what we did back then when awesome christianity ruled. Fear of damnation certainly never kept people in order. XD Not sure what univerity you statdy European history at but you might want to consider to go to a better one if that is what you learned about mediveal Europe, oh dear.. Now we are secular and more peaceful than ever. How odd...
@Trampadoo It never kept people in order because greedy monarchs thought for themselves. I by no means am saying christianity is best, but I am saying it is a step in a good direction. Our new society has stepped back. It may seem we are as peaceful as ever, but we have never been as amoral and nihilistic. Eventually it will collapse and religion will grip the world yet again. Then, hopefully, a responsible leader will deceive the workforce and lead humanity to greater things.
@coolbji: And greedy monarchies and later the pope and co. and other religious leaders as well.
"It may seem we are as peaceful as ever, but we have never been as amoral and nihilistic."
Hahahaha, I'm sorry, just, no.. For the first time in freaking history we have pretty much achived equal rights for women, gays and disabled ppl. We can get married out of love and are not forced into it. We don't force children to get married. We can't act as if we own kids and do whatever we want to them.
@coolbji: We didn't have a war in Wester Europe since 60 years for the first time in history. Monarchies and monastries can't plunder and terrorize ppl at well. We don't torture and execute. We don't have a state of anarchy on the streets with everyone getting away who knew the right ppl or was rich enough. We don't hold slaves. We act with responsiblility when it comes to sexuality (if you think they used to be modest, abstinent and STD were not a much bigger problem you are extremely naive).
@coolbji: Teachers are not allowed to beat children in school. For the first time in history we try to repair the damage we have done to the environment and maintain a good status quo. For he first time in history we care about other animal species. For the first time we have real freedom of speech, expression and press. Education is available to anyone, not just the rich or the ones who manage to get a scholarship.
@Trampadoo I suppose nothing is immoral because we make our own morals, but I am saying that our whole society is immoral based on christian morals, which held the world in a stranglehold of progression held back only by greedy leaders. Also, equality is a joke. I am genealogically smarter than say a black person who has never needed to be smart to live in a tribe. I am genealogically more fit than say someone who has a disease. It's simply how it is. Therefore only the ones with these
@coolbji: Morals are always subjective. Oh well, why even bother. I am talking to a white supremacists who thinks he is better than ppl from counties with different priorities (because hey, surviving in the desert is so much more easier than surviving in a ready-made "civilised" world, bwahaha) and cultures, better than the ill and injured, probably better than women because most are not as strong and aggressive as men. Even most fundie Christians would kick your ass for that. XD
@Trampadoo Our logic is quite futile. You detest my logic with your logic. I detest your logic with anti-logic. I forgot the fundamental pointlessness of this while arguing. Regardless, with all my power I attempt to judge based on real characteristics. Your racist labels are for people who judge on unreal characteristics like simply the color of the skin. I am not forbidding the occurance of a black person who is far smarter than I. If an event occurred I would honor the advantage.
@Trampadoo advantages I logically deserve more education and a priority to mating. As for the environment, we are the most hypocritical beings in existence. We are making next to no effort to preserving diversity and natural resources. Surviving and prospering is simply the #1 of a human without fear or pride. As for the beating of children, fear is a powerful tool and I am bewildered as to why it has been removed. Every single one of you normals disgust me.
@coolbji: Ah, not to mention that I am talking to someone who approves beating children and controlling ppl with fear which has always worked so well with christians re the whole hell/devil things. Not. XD
I don't give a fuck about christians "morals", only the morals/laws matter and what you sprout is against the status quo of morals/laws of western society, especially Europe, which is top when it comes to low violence, rape, teen preg, abortion, STD and drug abuse rates.
@Trampadoo Low crime rates etc do not mean anything. We have drawn hard lines of what is right and wrong. This stops progression as everyone is naive. The midieval christians would kill a retard because he was a "demon spawn" and not kill their masters because they were "god ordained". This system stopped gene pool stagnation and kept those in power in power. Through our eyes this inhumane and I agree. Explicit suffering over nothing is idiotic. That is where I would differ. So that you can know
@coolbji: I'm not even commenting on your first comment, you need to lay off those drugs..
"Low crime rates etc do not mean anything."
Sure, a free society with low crime doesn't mean anything. You know what doesn't mean anything. A sharia country with low crime that is the opposite of freedom and scared ppl into obidence. "The midieval christians would kill a retard.." You clearly need to learn more about medieval Europe. XD
@Trampadoo just exactly where I stand I will describe my utopia. This will prevent any idiotic labels. Hopefully you can scrounge up an original label that fits this. Utopia: A number of unconnected communities in the corners of the world. Each community is highly diverse from the other and highly diverse, to a degree, inside. The average men and women perform all normal tasks as appointed by their genealogical abilities and skills. If an unfortunate mutation or disease occurs that offspring
@Trampadoo is painlessly exterminated. Men and women are fundamentally seen as equal, but unequal in skills and abilities. This would stop hate crimes over idiotic characteristics but retain the necessary inequality. To keep the people under control strict surveillance is used. If someone believes something wrong has happened the accused will define his reasons. If said reasons are sound he is released or reprimanded. If found to be ignorant he would be killed painlessly.
@Trampadoo I suppose the morals instilled would be based off of the early christian ones plus the addition of the aforementioned disciplinary rules. This would leave a vague system and if there is a dispute over what is right or wrong the suspected will simply be killed. To reach "salvation" one would have to work hard. Once one was too old to work effectively they would be judged. Either they'd be treated at their old age and allowed to live in bliss as an elder or killed.
@coolbji: What the heck are you talking about? XD You are clearly not talking about the current secular countries of Europe so what is that supposed system you are talking about?
@Trampadoo Hopefully you can understand my intentions. I know it was a little scrawled out. An example of a similiar society would be in "The Giver". Knowledge would be held until needed and only a few wise men would fully grasp the situation while the normals would simply drudge and enjoy the world as our meta-cognitive skills make us unstable as we gain moral breaking knowledge. If you do not know what I am trying to say lets stop this futile argument. I suppose it was my fault making such
@coolbji: You know, the best way to see for you that "retards" should be treated well in the loobey-bin instead of bein exterminated is the fact that they let guys like you have their internet times. ;)
On a public right of way, where scientologists, Islamic fanatics, members of the English Defense League and people giving out contraception are all allowed to speard their message, then why not rightous Christians? If Jesus came to earth and preached the same thing would you support a Police officer arresting him? Freedom of speech does not just mean you let people say things everyone agrees with, it instead protects the speech which may come across as inflammatory or offensive.
we are living in the end times the persecution of the saints is now happening in the u.k. and America it is very bad in 3rd world countries as they are getting murdered
The foolish left wing goofs amongst us is getting more than they deserve. first they have gone to great extremes to under mine and belitttle Christianity and to have the idea of brining up God and Jesus as almost illegal in most public buildings, now they have it where it is illegal to tell what God thinks of homosexuality. I hear they are fighting hard to get islam excepted and approved in all that it does even though it does the opposite of the lefty's, but anything besides God for them!
@GTCism "... now they have it where it is illegal to tell what God thinks of homosexuality."
You can preach what you want in the very influential institutions of selective ignorance; The Churches. There is no god so how ludicrous it is to assert that you know the thoughts of something that doesn't exist. Notions that assert that homosexuals are wrong or evil are not based in fact. And you can't claim morality if you are not even factually correct. All you have is an unproven and ignorant belief
I agree with the preacher; he needs freedom of speech. The placard/board that takes up sidewalk space may be a problem (what if dozens of the same appeared?), but as long as he is not amplifying his voice, and he is courteous, I support him. If we don't see each other, we cannot discuss issues intelligently. Let's be free to disagree. peace
@gayforlife2020 "...but as long as he is not amplifying his voice, and he is courteous, I support him. If we don't see each other, we cannot discuss issues intelligently. Let's be free to disagree. peace"
Those are nice sentiments.
But when one looks at the history of religious indoctrination of a population it often involved the mass murder of those who didn't comply to those beliefs. Say it as nicely as you like, but the bible said to kill the homosexual... and they were not nice about it.
This is evidence of the evils of Liberalism. Liberals say you have to be tolerant of all groups and individuals, so where is the tolerance for a righteous Bible preachers who speak the truth. Absolutely outrages that man was persecuted simply for what he believed in. You might as well place a law banning publishing the Bible. The UK has a human rights act, which grants free speech, so lets allow some free speech then?
@MrEnlighteneddespot "... so where is the tolerance for a righteous Bible preachers who speak the truth. Absolutely outrages that man was persecuted simply for what he believed in."
You nor this preach actually knows it to be true.
The foolish preacher should have said he "believed it was a sin". The bible nor this preacher based this belief on a credible foundation. It wont stand up to scrutiny. Sadly, evil lies could be written into the bible and the faithful would NOT know the difference.
@eVVVVV Regardless of whether or not you agree with the preachers message, the fact remains that under the rule of law under the Human Rights Act adopted into UK law, simply hearing words you do not agree with is not a good enough reason to shut up the speech. It is a blatant violation of one's free speech and freedom of religion to stop them preaching what is true according to their Holy Book. And yes, I agree with what the Bible says about homosexuality- it is a sin and so should you.
@MrEnlighteneddespot "It is a blatant violation of one's free speech and freedom of religion to stop them preaching what is true according to their Holy Book."
The credibility of your 'holy' book is severely lacking - especially on this subject.
Saying vile things like "sin" about other people that were not found to be true and yet caused multitudes to believe it is inciting an antisocial sentiment in the population with a FALSEHOOD. That has gotten a lot of gay folks killed over the years.
@MrEnlighteneddespot "It is a blatant violation of one's free speech and freedom of religion to stop them preaching what is true according to their Holy Book."
In a church... perhaps. But on a city street? Wouldn't that be incitement?
"And yes, I agree with what the Bible says about homosexuality- it is a sin and so should you."
You "agree"? Based on what? Your belief? A core value based in fact is far, far better than a religious belief. You can't really be moral if it isn't based in fact.
Wow the UK police officers were right on! I'm a gay christian and I find it very offensive when street preachers are spewing their hate. Preach love and you will have more success at bring people to Christ
@broncopolykidgrad OK so you're gay AND a Christian, and you find gay=sin offensive. But maybe there's a group of people out there (Muslims perhaps) who'd be offended by something YOU preach. Should they have the right to have you banned from preaching, and arrested if you refuse?
@probro9898 I preach love not hate. Being a minority in this world I know what it feels like to be persecuted and hated for being myself. Paul says in the new testament to not have thoughts about who goes to heaven or hell but to preach the truth about Christ. I think theres always a better approach to sending a message. Yelling on a street corner in my opinion never brings people to Christ and offends most people.
Please don't try to belittle other people's innate orientations and cause upset and then play the freedom of speech card. This is not America, your freedom of speech ends when it degenerates into telling people it's wrong for them to do what they are doing, when it is recognised as a basic right by the UN and the EU. If you want to preach, do it in a church, because to those of us that have no interest in your tall tales you look a silly sod.

@rimfa123 Well you are defining freedom of speech with specific parameters. You said "your freedom of speech ends when it degenerates into telling people it;s wrong for them to do what they are doing." Well then there is no freedom of speech. If someone is persecuted for that they believe or face reprecussion for what they have said, there is no "freedom of speech" that is called tyranny., and opression. Democratic societies need to examine what freedom of speech really means.
@natedog45471 Well ok then, but I'm sure if you lived in a gennuinely tyrannic society you would find what you said quite amusing. The fact is, that the overwhelming empirical evidence points to homosexuality being an innate trait, not a choice. As a secular government, it has the duty to not take in to account unverifiable beliefs that often contradict eachother. Telling people that what they choose to do with other consentignadults will get send them to hell is vile, bordering sadistic.
@natedog45471 You also misquoted me, in that you didn't include the whole phrase. Either you are lacking or you chose to try to misconstrue what I said, I suspect the latter. When you try to use freedom of speech to preach against basic human rights as recognised by the UN and the EU as well as Parliament, then it becomes unacceptable. This man has no business harassing innocent bystanders on the street, if he wants to preach about homosexuality, he should do it in a church.

@rimfa123 it means being able to say what you want, whenver you want, and having the freedom to do so without persecution or consequnces by the courts. Democracy has given way to tyranny, and has infringed upon the rights of those that wish to state opinions that go against society.
@natedog45471 As I said before in the UK we have different laws concerning hate speech. Just as it is an arrestable offence in mainland Europe to deny the holocaust, it is a violation of the section 5 public order act which states that it is illegal to say/do anything that may cause alarm or distress. I have a homosexual friend, and I can guarentee that if they were walking down the street and they saw some guy that knows nothing about psychology telling them they're wrong it would distress them
@rimfa123 Well i can appreciate the fact someone may be disstressed or upset if somebody tells them their way of life is wrong or what they are doing is wrong. I get that completly. And people should not tell people who are homosexual that their lifestyle is wrong. But what it boils down to is that people should still have the freedom to do so without being persecuted or taken to court. That is a violation of basic human rights. In the west, everything now has to be political correct.
@natedog45471 Reasonable point. But, yes, I'm afraid in the West now many things do have to be politically correct, are at least in line with basic human rights. I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed to hold or express his views on homosexuality, I'm just saying that, like an anti-semite or a holocaust denier, he shouldn't broadcast his views in the manner he does. If he wants to do it in a church or at a religious meeting, he can say what he wants for all I care.
@rimfa123 such policies will only led to more laws that prohbit anyone saying anything that goes against mainstream society, which will result in the increasing of police powers, persecution, and a reversing trend of the freedom that western countries so love to champion. It is much the same in canada, if i said to someone the way your living is wrong, i can get sued for discrimination and emotional distress. What is there any freedom in that? There is none. It has been replaced with tyranny.
@natedog45471 I think that words like "persecution" and "tyranny" are thrown around a little too readily these days, and although I see your point about being sued, the state has to balance out freedom of speech with the duty it has to protect minorities and even majorities from harrassment and distress. The problem with this video is that it is hypocritical, fundementalist Christianity has an awful track record in terms of democracy, yet they see fit to attack the secular state.
@rimfa123 Maybe this video isn't the best for comparing values of freedom and human rights. I guess what I am ultimately afraid is that if the state always does cater to minorities and enforcing laws that stifle all opinion besides what is 'mainstream opinion', Western countries will slowly revert to police states, where opinions other then those of society will earn someone a jail sentence or a harsh punishment, never mind being sued.

@natedog45471 "I guess what I am ultimately afraid is that if the state always does cater to minorities and enforcing laws that stifle all opinion besides what is 'mainstream opinion',..."
A valid concern. I agree.
I think one solution would be to educate the populace about the country's founding values & how to reach and respect rational conclusions. And to respect one's position in a Constitutional Republic. And that one cannot credibly apply an opinion and its consequences to someone else.
Respond to this video... I will stand with those that say homosexuliaty is a sin. not because i neccesarily agree with that opinion, but i completely agree with their principle that they should be able to voice whatever they want. there is no democracy, there is no freedom, there is no liberty, if someone cannot say something wihtout being persecuted, belittled, or face consquencs simply because they said something.
@natedog45471 "...there is no liberty, if someone cannot say something wihtout being persecuted, belittled, or face consquencs simply because they said something."
But you can't say "fire" in a theater when there is no fire. In the hysteria people will get hurt. You can't say gay=sin when there is no proof that being gay or sex between two people of the same sex is bad or evil or some such thing that will cause hate or fear when there is no proof of the accusation. The case has to be valid.
@eVVVVV Does the case have to be valid? Alot of people away with saying things all the time that are not proven. For instance, a politican in my province made an accusation that the government was doing backroom deals to keep pharmaceutical drug prices really high. A publicy inquiry was launched as a result of the allegations, and found that the politican had been lying, and just talking off the top of his head. This politican did not face any reprocussions whatsoever.
@eVVVVV Even though this politician lied, and wasted taxpayer money by having the government launch a public inquiry, he didn't face any reprocussions at all. What he said was baseless, and unproven.
Please don't try to belittle other people's innate orientations and cause upset and then play the freedom of speech card. This is not America, your freedom of speech ends when it degenerates into telling people it's wrong for them to do what they are doing, when it is recognised as a basic right by the UN and the EU. Does this street preacher NOT realize gays used to be executed because of this unproven belief?
That society and many families of gay folks are STILL poisoned against gays with this perspective? That we are still maimed and murdered because of the conditioning of the population by CENTURIES of this religious propaganda? That these conditions cause us to kill ourselves because of the loneliness and hopelessness of the situation? It's not as bad as it used to be. But it's still damned significant.
@eVVVVV that is fascism, you can't force all people to accept homosexuality. The preacher is not saying: "Kill gays and lesbian, kill them all" in the first place
@trifulquita15 "that is fascism, you can't force all people to accept homosexuality."
Who said to "force people". Are you really so dense that you jump to conclusions so easily?
But I think I know why you did so. Your religion has crippled you ability to reach a rational conclusion. So you jump to your -preferred- conclusions. You can't have a truly moral conclusion if it's NOT even factually correct. You cant prove the validity of "gay=sin". So it would be a lie to spread it as truth.
@trifulquita15 "The preacher is not saying: "Kill gays and lesbian, kill them all" in the first place"
You seem have trouble comprehending the issue.
The CENTURIES of conditioning of the population by Organized Religion has caused some HOSTILE and UNPROVEN notions toward gay folks to be accepted as fact. And we have paid for it with our lives, loneliness and hardship that you can't fathom. Spreading lies like "gay=sin" on a massive scale or even in a small locality has its dire consequences.
Jesus said, "Go out into the streets and invite the good and the bad, that my Fathers table may be full." But, everyone wants to go out into the streets and condemn! Who is doing God's will? How can anyone come if they are not invited..........Invite! Do not judge!
@trifulquita15 "Tell me, as a Christians how we suposed to convert nazis and racists without condeming racism"
LOL! YOUR CAMP would best satisfy the definition of racists and Nazis because of CENTURIES of the deadly Religious persecution of gay folks! And everybody knows it except for the blindness, amnesia and addiction of the 'faithful'. Gay folks just want to be left alone. There is nothing to condemn because the "gay=sin" notion has not been proven valid and won't be. Don't you get it yet?
@eVVVVV gay=sin notion. Look, gays and lesbians are sexual object for heterosexual people, ok? Men REALLY ENJOY to watch attractive lesbians kissing eachother, and a lot of women thinks gays are sexy.
That is wrong, none human is a sexual object, humans have dignity, we are not flesh to satisfy perverts
@trifulquita15 "That is wrong, none human is a sexual object, humans have dignity, we are not flesh to satisfy perverts"
Oh my......You are worse off than I thought.
You have a corrupted idea of humanity and natural human expression. Your inbred philosophy is bankrupt. It only seems valid to the ignorant and is perpetuated by unquestioned obedience, a tyranny of the mind and heart. You worship a graven image, which is particularly evident because it lacks a heart.
does this retard agree that any one who works on sunday should be put to death. any kids disrespecting parents should die etc. the old testament is so full of evil diongs by god, and evil exhortations that it is totally absurd. 613 commandments/prohibitations. but this ignorant twat chooses this particular stupidity to 'preach'. these sad individuals sicken me. people dont 'choose' homosexuality, they are born-god made em that way if you like. blame god you fekin retarded gullible moron
Very, very disturbing indeed, whatever your views on Christianity and homosexuality, that thought crime is now being punished. Also, free speech means being able to laugh at things in Christianity, make cartoons about Islamic beliefs, and of course express ideas such as behaviour being sinful.
Christians do not want to limit anyone's human rights or personal dignity. On the contrary, Christians want to see our society advance and become fairer and more equal. We are concerned with the well being of our society and more than anything want to see all people come to a perfect understanding of self and freedom from any manner of spiritual bondage by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. who is above everything else in all creation
I'm not a Christian fundamental, right-wing, or anything like that; in fact, I consider myself to be a left-wing athiest revolutionary, but the facts still stand, sexuality and sexual identity disorders are just that, neurobiochemical disbalances in the brain, not an innate genetic feature of the human or even animal condition. Feel free to debate with me here, but plenty of organisations exist with the aim to treat homosexuality for those wanting treatment, i.e. NARTH.
Homosexuals aren't sinners, but I believe medical science went wrong when they started de-pathologizing it in the third quarter of the 20th century, taking the honus of the condition (or 'phenomenon' now) away from the responsibility of psychiatrists to the responsibility of click-reactionary civil rights groupings and such.
I am a Christian and I do not support street preachers. I belive in equality, I know homosexuality is a sin but do is drunkeness, porn, pre marital sex. Why WHy is gay the end all be all sin in some so-called CHristians eyes??
Yes in England the liberal government is caving in to the Muslims but they hate the Judeo/Christianity that has been in part of their culture&history 1500 plus years. They are doing all they can to destroy this aspect of their culture., how sad.England was one of the first countries where the common man had access to the Bible back nearly 500 years ago.Now they hate the Bible.
As a resident of Gainsborough I can vouch that this man is offensive, although he just stands and shouts incoherant gibberish at anyone unfortunate enough to catch his attention. Of course he is entitled to his opinion but then so am I, in fact a bit more so as I pay my council tax to West Lindsey and we need to get rid of all the drunks and those who should be sectioned from the market place.
Sure freedom of speech whatever but what he doesn't get is that he's offending people. That's like saying out on the streets hey being straight is a sun and you will go to hell and god hates you!!!!! And duh If you were preaching that people would call the police. And gosh this guy is stupid

1) People who decide to be single
2) Infertile people
3) Couple who decide not to have children
4) NUNS

Freedom of speech is not designed for you to be able to stand on a street and make comments that may be deemed offensive. You are entitled to your opinion, you are NOT entitled to push that opinion upon others, especially in public! That's the reason why public order acts are in place. In my opinion, street preaching should be illegal.

Throughout history one cannot deny this.
coolbji 5 months ago
@coolbji actually, thats untrue... Morality was much better before religion... Religion, ESPECIALLY CHRISTIANITY, caused more deaths, torchure, and hatred than anything else. You can say religion is what made morals, but before religion was created there was morality. Look at other animals, they dont have religions and they live in perfect order. But theres one animal that has religion and its the Animal that kills and hates without stopping... Humans...
keyow2 5 months ago
@coolbji Yes, I CAN deny this...you need to study history, and morality, and "so-called" Christianity.
wakygee 5 months ago
@wakygee I'm studying European history.. Imagine the world without Christianity. We'd be in little villages killing each other with basic values. The world we're in is so coddled.. it is pathetic. Christianity had it perfect about 800 years ago. There was no equality and some people had power and others didn't. The fear of damnation kept everyone in order. Then idiots like you killed god. You killed him dead. If you don't get the expression go look it up. Nietzsche said it.
coolbji 5 months ago
@coolbji If the only thing keeping people from killing each other is the fear of damnation, then I'm glad all those idiots believe in God. Unfortunately, the "people in power" who instill that fear have too often used it for their own corrupt agenda.
wakygee 5 months ago
@wakygee No god no masters.. Very dangerous.. However, I'm not totally against you. The men in power are incredibly weak. They are the weakest link in the whole system. Nothing you or I can do about it unfortunately. That corruption has nothing to do with Christianity. The corruption is a personal matter. If the men in power believed the bible and everything affiliated we'd be golden.
coolbji 5 months ago
@coolbji The bible can be interpreted in too many ways for too many weak-minded power mongers and weak-minded fundamentalist lunatics; You can use it to justify killing, and you can use it to justify capital punishment for that killing.
The Koran is same kind of dangerous ancient book of deceit and confusion.
wakygee 5 months ago
@wakygee There is no such thing as right or wrong. I am not arguing for Christianity over that. I am representing Christianity because it attempted to instate an objective system to keep the weak secure and working. It was ingenious. Trick all of humanity into solemn service. We need a system like it again ( I say again because we killed God and the original genius of the system). With obvious augmentations that is. A change being the introduction of uncorrupt leaders.
coolbji 5 months ago
@coolbji Yes, I guess that would be the perfect Utopian World. Unfortunately, there are too many devious leader types willing to exploit and take advantage of the God Facade, and too few altruistic intellectual atheists able to convince the majority that the Golden Rule is a basic human principle, based on innate empathy and sympathy.
wakygee 5 months ago
@wakygee And we reach a consensus. Oh and an atheist will commonly believe in morals but no god. You may be thinking of a nihilist. Their lives are ruled by absolutely nothing. I could go all into psychology of a crowd and how to control one but we've wasted enough time info trolling each other. I could also go into the pointlessness of life but that is merely irrelevant. @Trampadoo It never kept people in order because greedy monarchs thought for themselves. I by no means am saying christianity is best, but I am saying it is a step in a good direction. Hahahaha, I'm sorry, just, no.. For the first time in freaking history we have pretty much achived equal rights for women, gays and disabled ppl. @Trampadoo advantages I logically deserve more education and a priority to mating. As for the environment, we are the most hypocritical beings in existence. As for the beating of children, fear is a powerful tool and I am bewildered as to why it has been removed. Every single one of you normals disgust me.

@Trampadoo Low crime rates etc do not mean anything. We have drawn hard lines of what is right and wrong. This stops progression as everyone is naive. If an unfortunate mutation or disease occurs that offspring
coolbji 4 months ago
@Trampadoo is painlessly exterminated. Men and women are fundamentally seen as equal, but unequal in skills and abilities. This would stop hate crimes over idiotic characteristics but retain the necessary inequality. To keep the people under control strict surveillance is used. If someone believes something wrong has happened the accused will define his reasons. If said reasons are sound he is released or reprimanded. If found to be ignorant he would be killed painlessly.
coolbji 4 months ago
@Trampadoo I suppose the morals instilled would be based off of the early christian ones plus the addition of the aforementioned disciplinary rules. This would leave a vague system and if there is a dispute over what is right or wrong the suspected will simply be killed. To reach "salvation" one would have to work hard. Once one was too old to work effectively they would be judged. Either they'd be treated at their old age and allowed to live in bliss as an elder or killed.

Absolutely outrages that man was persecuted simply for what he believed in. You might as well place a law banning publishing the Bible. The UK has a human rights act, which grants free speech, so lets allow some free speech then?
MrEnlighteneddespot 5 months ago
@MrEnlighteneddespot "... so where is the tolerance for a righteous Bible preachers who speak the truth. Absolutely outrages that man was persecuted simply for what he believed in."
You nor this preach actually knows it to be true.
The foolish preacher should have said he "believed it was a sin". The bible nor this preacher based this belief on a credible foundation. It wont stand up to scrutiny. Sadly, evil lies could be written into the bible and the faithful would NOT know the difference.
eVVVVV 5 months ago
@eVVVVV Regardless of whether or not you agree with the preachers message, the fact remains that under the rule of law under the Human Rights Act adopted into UK law, simply hearing words you do not agree with is not a good enough reason to shut up the speech. It is a blatant violation of one's free speech and freedom of religion to stop them preaching what is true according to their Holy Book. And yes, I agree with what the Bible says about homosexuality- it is a sin and so should you.

Preach love and you will have more success at bring people to Christ
broncopolykidgrad 5 months ago
@broncopolykidgrad OK so you're gay AND a Christian, and you find gay=sin offensive. But maybe there's a group of people out there (Muslims perhaps) who'd be offended by something YOU preach. Should they have the right to have you banned from preaching, and arrested if you refuse?
probro9898 5 months ago in playlist A Warning to Christians. John 15:18-27

Democratic societies need to examine what freedom of speech really means.
natedog45471 5 months ago
@natedog45471 Well ok then, but I'm sure if you lived in a gennuinely tyrannic society you would find what you said quite amusing. The fact is, that the overwhelming empirical evidence points to homosexuality being an innate trait, not a choice. As a secular government, it has the duty to not take in to account unverifiable beliefs that often contradict eachother. Telling people that what they choose to do with other consentignadults will get send them to hell is vile, bordering sadistic.
rimfa123 5 months ago

Democracy has given way to tyranny, and has infringed upon the rights of those that wish to state opinions that go against society.
natedog45471 5 months ago
@natedog45471 As I said before in the UK we have different laws concerning hate speech. Just as it is an arrestable offence in mainland Europe to deny the holocaust, it is a violation of the section 5 public order act which states that it is illegal to say/do anything that may cause alarm or distress. I have a homosexual friend, and I can guarentee that if they were walking down the street and they saw some guy that knows nothing about psychology telling them they're wrong it would distress them
rimfa123 5 months ago
@rimfa123 Well i can appreciate the fact someone may be disstressed or upset if somebody tells them their way of life is wrong or what they are doing is wrong. I get that completly. And people should not tell people who are homosexual that their lifestyle is wrong. But what it boils down to is that people should still have the freedom to do so without being persecuted or taken to court. That is a violation of basic human rights. In the west, everything now has to be political correct.
natedog45471 5 months ago
@natedog45471 Reasonable point. But, yes, I'm afraid in the West now many things do have to be politically correct, are at least in line with basic human rights. I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed to hold or express his views on homosexuality, I'm just saying that, like an anti-semite or a holocaust denier, he shouldn't broadcast his views in the manner he does. If he wants to do it in a church or at a religious meeting, he can say what he wants for all I care.
rimfa123 5 months ago
@rimfa123 such policies will only led to more laws that prohbit anyone saying anything that goes against mainstream society, which will result in the increasing of police powers, persecution, and a reversing trend of the freedom that western countries so love to champion. It is much the same in canada, if i said to someone the way your living is wrong, i can get sued for discrimination and emotional distress. What is there any freedom in that? There is none. It has been replaced with tyranny.
natedog45471 5 months ago
@natedog45471 I think that words like "persecution" and "tyranny" are thrown around a little too readily these days, and although I see your point about being sued, the state has to balance out freedom of speech with the duty it has to protect minorities and even majorities from harrassment and distress. The problem with this video is that it is hypocritical, fundementalist Christianity has an awful track record in terms of democracy, yet they see fit to attack the secular state.
rimfa123 5 months ago

I will stand with those that say homosexuliaty is a sin. not because i neccesarily agree with that opinion, but i completely agree with their principle that they should be able to voice whatever they want. there is no democracy, there is no freedom, there is no liberty, if someone cannot say something wihtout being persecuted, belittled, or face consquencs simply because they said something.
natedog45471 5 months ago

This politican did not face any reprocussions whatsoever.
natedog45471 5 months ago
@eVVVVV Even though this politician lied, and wasted taxpayer money by having the government launch a public inquiry, he didn't face any reprocussions at all. What he said was baseless, and unproven.

gay activists has the right to say "Homosexuality is right"
But preachers don't have the right to say "Homosexuality is wrong"
So we have to accept homosexuality or else....
trifulquita15 5 months ago
Does this street preacher NOT realize gays used to be executed because of this unproven belief?
That society and many families of gay folks are STILL poisoned against gays with this perspective? That we are still maimed and murdered because of the conditioning of the population by CENTURIES of this religious propaganda? That these conditions cause us to kill ourselves because of the loneliness and hopelessness of the situation? It's not as bad as it used to be. But it's still damned significant.
eVVVVV 5 months ago
@eVVVVV that is fascism, you can't force all people to accept homosexuality. The preacher is not saying: "Kill gays and lesbian, kill them all" in the first place
trifulquita15 5 months ago
@trifulquita15 "that is fascism, you can't force all people to accept homosexuality."
Who said to "force people". Are you really so dense that you jump to conclusions so easily?
But I think I know why you did so. Your religion has crippled you ability to reach a rational conclusion. So you jump to your -preferred- conclusions. You can't have a truly moral conclusion if it's NOT even factually correct. You cant prove the validity of "gay=sin". So it would be a lie to spread it as truth.
eVVVVV 5 months ago
@trifulquita15 "The preacher is not saying: "Kill gays and lesbian, kill them all" in the first place"
You seem have trouble comprehending the issue.
The CENTURIES of conditioning of the population by Organized Religion has caused some HOSTILE and UNPROVEN notions toward gay folks to be accepted as fact. And we have paid for it with our lives, loneliness and hardship that you can't fathom. Spreading lies like "gay=sin" on a massive scale or even in a small locality has its dire consequences.
