Hollywood blvd in Hollywood is like Granville St. here in Vancouver Canada.. So similiar, you go to Vine street is like one going to Davie St. here in Vancouver, same idea. The last time I passed thru hollywood and vine, a walking that is , was Oct 1971...yes so much alike. I couldn't believe what I saw, for one thing there were alot of book stores in the area as well as gay people, the likes of which weren't to be seen here in this era.

well, if youre going to be taking pics of celebs for a living, I guess it would be a good idea. I only lived out there for just under a year (for school) and its pretty expensive. So if youre financially secure, then, I guess, go for it.

Ive always wanted to move to LA or Hollywood and maybe work in a garage or something, to do with cars maybe. Big American dream but i'm hoping to take an apprenticeship over in the UK and then maybe move there if possible, at the moment i feel my chances are slim but i honestly don't know. First thing you need to know is that there are a million mechanics in the U.S. That does not mean that you wont find a job, but it means that the U/S is not in demand for that kind of labour and you wont get a work permit to live there.

You have to have a carreer that is on the 'skilled work' list of shortages.
