this thing would be great for airsoft sniper rifles put in a .43g bb and you can finally get an effective range over 75 feet easy.

on a side note I'd like to see madbull make a sniper rifle that uses CO2 casings like this (just in .308 form) something like a m24 or L96A1 though with this kind of FPS an 8mm .5g BB firing Barrett M82A1 or Cheytac M200 Intervention seem approriate

Actually these can be used in real shot guns... look through the other vids that have been uploaded by this person and you'll see them using it in a Remington 870.

they will take green gas but i would recommend propane as it is a fraction of the cost and you get over 3 times as much gas.

Wow, a 9mm bullet only goes like 1020fps, so that is one riduculous power for airsoft. No practical application at all though. Shoot that at someone and you could do them real harm.

thats only 1 round though. There are more bb's that go in the shell so fps will be lowered for each bb considerably

I agree they will do some harm, but since a 9mm bullet weighs around 35 times more than an .25g pellet, it will have around 35 times more energy at the same velocity. so velocity alone isn't a valid comparison. a 6mm pellet would have to be fired at 6000fps to have the same energy as a 9mm fired at 1000fps.

Hmm, 881? Sounds like its compensating for having a full load instead of just one bb. They should try it will a fully loaded shell first and see if the chrono will read it.

How do you expect this to legally be used for airsoft purposes, if you are using it in a real shotgun? if you use it for airsoft in say....a real shotgun, that would be classified as Brandishing a firearm at someone (using airsoft rounds or not) and is a felony by offense?

A 9mm pistol shooting a REAL BULLET only fires 875fps...

BUT..a 9mm shoots anywhere from 990 to 1350 fps (depending on grain)... a .45 ACP is usually around 850-950 fps.

That is the speed of the gas not the BB.

You have to be atleast 3 feet from the first

sensor to read the actual FPS of the BB.

Airsoft grenades do the same thing when you are to close to the chrono.

You have to know that MadBull is not only manufacturer for Airsoft industries... This is excellent for Shotgun practice. For Airsoft version, we will limite the velocity.

Will these shells be usable in the Tanaka M870 or do you plan to build up you're own shottie ? It would be rather interresting to have such a powerfull shell since it would have enough juice to shoot like, what, seven BB's at a decent velocity (says, 300 FPS). At the moment, there's no airsoft shotgun both realistic in action AND powerfull enough to shot "a lot" of BB's from a single shell... and it's soooo sad :-D lol
