  • Oh What?

  • wow @1:03 that sounded nice! i hope it was ok going down in that tall grass

  • Hey theres real people in that plane..God i must stop taking these drugs...

  • is it fast

  • Does it have a steerable tail gear?

  • i've got a hobbyzone electruc cub and yeah it does, turns with rudder, no ailerons

  • yes

  • This vid is actually worth watching since you can see the plane close-up

  • lol doesn't this come with a anti crash system thing? nice vid tho 5*

  • yes, but you can turn it off to gain maneuverability (which most people do.)

  • this isn`t the parkzone cub, that guy buit his own

  • WOW!! magor props on the landing

  • Too much rudder in the turns. The Cub will snap-roll/tip stall on you if you're not careful!!

  • hey thats a major bummer. Did you get it out ok. That was the hobbyzone super cub right? you said that the batteries last 30 min.!!!!!!i was looking at getting one, so thats great

  • No, this is the lod Hanger 9 ARF that was designed for a glow engine. They are not made any more. This one is 109" wing span. A LOT larger and very different than the HobbyZone.

  • oh ok, thanks.

  • no struts?

  • The struts were optional in this version of the plane - not required for structural support. We were in a hurry to get it in the air so we didnt put them on.

  • Are you flying this plane with the radio that came with the plane? (3 Channel) Or, are you flying with your own higher channel radio?

  • ok, ok, nice.

  • ur landings are crap lol

  • how long dose the battery last?

  • For sport flying it last about 30 minutes.

  • k thx

  • good flying until u crashed it

  • Good flying...whats the flying time on those electric models?

  • That can vary a lot depending on the details of the setup. This particular model and power system could easily fly 15 to 20 minutes the way we were doing it in the video.

  • ouch

  • Thats nice to know i bet you were happy

  • OH man how bad was the damage?

  • We got lucky - just one small hole in the covering.

  • Nice flight love the cub

  • I like the way you fly, it is very smooth. I have a HobbyZone Super cub and i wish i could fly it that smoothly. Where are you flying, it looks like a beautiful place?

  • This one is a good bit larger than the Hobby Zone Cub. That helps a lot for smooth flying. The pilot - Rich - is also a very good flyer - despite the crash at the end :) We fly with the Kitsap ARCS club in Port Orchard, Washington.

  • He crashed because he didn't put the red ribbon on the antenna.

  • Good video, decent camera work !

looks like it didn't have enough airspeed on that last turn, but I'm only a beginner :S

  • ya this plane is not the greatest to take off on land

i got one but im getting a f27 stryker

  • nice

  • I fly RC planes and I like watching your smooth looking plane fly. Curious...What was it that caused the sudden loss of control?

  • Nice smooth manuevers..Looks like at the end, a little bit of disorientation and right to the nose dive. Been there many times before myself lol

  • What are you supposed to do in a nosedive???? can you save the plane???

  • Well, the best thins to do is practice so you dont encounter a nosedive. I found that when I first started off, nosedives were a result in me becoming disoriented with a steep turn or not being able to tell how the plane was flying. But if you are in a nosedive, I usually tried half throttle and elevator or aileron to correct for the steep turn.

  • There are better trainers for beginners, but they are not bad.

  • are cubs good beginner planes?

  • Larry, great video. Excuse the critical nature of YouTube responders. I love your Cub & your video. Couldn't care less about a misspelled word...not enough to make a globally visible comment on it. I have two of the HobbyZone electric Super Cubs and my son and I love them. I'm very interested in knowing about your plane...it looks very scale, seems to fly quite smoothly. Questions: Cost, ARF or kit, 3 or 4 channels, radio, NiMH or LiPo? Thanks again from one Piper "Club" lover to another.

  • This is the Hanger9 ARF. It was discontinued a while back. The motor was a Tango 45-08 running on 10S lipos at around 1500 watts or so. We were running full flaps and useing 7 chanels.

  • at the begining it says cub not club lol plz change dis

    plz

  • its called a piper cub not a piper club
