  • This would have been an epic movie in the 80's!

  • Real.Expendables~~~~~~!!!

  • In the 80's , you didnt have to aim. Firing from the hip was accurate enough

  • oh hell yes:D great work

  • Very well done man!! I tip my hat to you sir!

  • Fucking awesome that's the dream team of action but were is Charles Bronson and Clint Eastwood.

  • classic!!! this is awesome...thanks

  • coolness personified lol

  • it's like call of duty, but with chuck norris

  • @h6425 No! Call of Duty is garbage compared to this! XD

  • PERFECT

  • WOW. THe best youtube video on action movies i've ever seen.

  • Fuckin' A+++ Good job my man!

  • I am proud to be an 80's kid. We grew up with man's men like Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Norris, Willis, etc.

As of today people are idiolizing sparkling vampires and 16 year old singing queers that look like dikes.

Where is all the testosteron nowadays?

  • expendables was a funass movie stop hating. the only thing that was a negative is that they could've replace about 3 guys. ACtion jackson for T.Crews Vandame for Statham, clips of Bruce lee for Jet li, Chuck norris, wesley snipes before he went to prison. Other than that folks expect too much. far as THIS vid, you should do a second unit

  • this is way better than the shitendables

  • Amazing video, very well done, but if i am honest i think the Die Hard bit's don't work as well as the rest.

Hard not to like the way you cut Dolph/Segal,Dolph/Van Damme together.......and hardly a Brandon Lee in sight.

    Well done.

  • i love this video....i love you...i love 80...

  • bad guys are getting piled!!!!!!

  • This would have been even better if the Contra Jungle stage was playing in the back!

  • And this is why the russians backed down on the cold war back in the 1980's :)

  • @ 0:55 Chuck Norris doesnt dodge rockets, rockets dodge Chuck!

  • Hey Uncle Jake, I recall you writing that if you had to rank the Force starting with field leader, you'd place Chris Kenner on top. That's cool. But how would you rank the rest of the unit according to CoC? I.E., who would be second-in-command and so on? My personal ideal CoC for Scorpio Force would be: 1) Matrix 2) McCoy 3) Kenner 4) Rambo 5) Ryback 6) Riggs 7) Armstrong 8) McCord 9) McClane
  • @CesMan83 Based on their rankings in the films, with Kenner at the top, it'd be: 1. Kenner, 2. Matrix, 3. McCoy, 4. Ryback, 5. Rambo, 6. Armstrong, 7. McClane, 8. Riggs, 9. McCord. But in reality it should be: 1. Matrix, 2. McCoy, 3. Ryback, 4. Rambo, 5. Armstrong, 6. McClane, 7. Riggs, 8. Kenner, 9. McCord.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

    Good lineup, dude!

One other thing that I really liked about your vid (and this was something that just occurred to me recently) was the implied history between Rambo and McCoy. The way you designed the scene where McCoy contacts Rambo and calls him 'old buddy' is an interesting way to suggest a friendship between the two! Plus, it's not so far-fetched anyway; Green Berets and Delta Force have teamed up in real life countless times

  • @UncleJakeProductions BTW, did you create the photo at 9:41? It's outstanding.

If you ever get interest to do another video, you might want to include footage from Dudikoff's Soldier Boyz and Schwarzenegger's Eraser; have it be a mid to late 90s type movie premise.

It's still loads of fun to watch.

  • @CesMan83 Here's My CoC: 1. Matrix 2. Rambo 3. McCpy 4. RyBack. 5. Kenner 6. McClane 7. Riggs. 8. McCord 9. Armstrong

  • @MrSpock1991

Really good lineup you got there, Mr.Spock. Although, I dunno if Rambo would be so high up in the chain. UncleJake made a good point earlier that because of Raven's tendency of being a loner, he probably wouldn't acknowledge the CoC too seriously, especially his own ranking. Armstrong was pretty similar in that behavior as well. Both Rambo and the American Ninja would likely have gotten along with each other that way, huh? Ha ha

  • @MrSpock1991 1. Matrix 2.) McClane 3.) Rambo 4.) Kenner 5.) Riggs 6.) McCord 7.) McCoy 8.) Armstrong 9.) Ryback

Now, if it's a modern-day unit, we'd have the actual Expendables unit plus other Action heroes:

1.) Rambo 2.) Jet Li 3.) Jason Bourne 4.) John McClane 5.) Jack Bauer 6.) Horatio Caine 7.) Lundgren 8.) John Krueger (from Eraser) 9.) Walker Texas Ranger

  • Man if this was a movie it would definitely work even today!!! and it would dominate at the box office in my book. (but action like this is too much for people of today. i wouldn't be surprised if even today's troops found this to be too much)

any way you can link me that picture at the end? I'd take that pic blow it up poster size and put it up on my wall!

  • It's been a while since I've seen "Commando". But was John Matrix really a member of the Intelligence Support Activity (ISA)? Or was this a creative license thing (just like how John McClane wasn't FBI or JCVD with Air Force Special Tactics)

  • @CesMan83

He had to be ISA. He says he'd eat Green Berets for breakfast, so he's obviously not Special Forces. His past missions mentioned fall out of the realm of Delta Force's counter-terrorism. ISA is the only other major Spec Ops group he could have been led.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Well, what I meant was was it ever discussed what branch Matrix was a part of...I remember the scenes where members of his platoon were being picked of (with Bennett ostensibly being one of them)...was it mentioned at all if Matrix was part of the ISA in those early scenes with his CO, General Kirby?

  • @CesMan83 He was definitely Army. As for what Special Service, it's never named. The producers and writers probably meant it to be some no name group, but if you do the research, the ISA fits perfectly for the job and time.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Now that I think about it, I've never even heard of the ISA prior to seeing this video. I guess that particular military recon group is practically never used in the movies or any other entertainment media, huh?

  • @CesMan83

As for McClane, the FBI isn't far fetched. You bet your ass he spent time with the Feds after foiling 4 terrorist plots. Hopefully he'll be working with them in Parts 5 or 6! As for Van Damme, I wanted to represent the Air Force. Sounded better than the Fire Department. I figured a Pararescueman suited his skills set. And Lundgren as Marine Force Recon seemed to fit.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Yeah, everybody else fits...at first, I wasn't sure if Riggs was CIA. But then I had re-watched Lethal Weapon recently, and it was revealed that he was an assassin for the Company right after 'Nam, or something like that

  • @CesMan83 The only 2 I took artistic license with are Lundgren and Van Damme and the Marines and Air Force were not yet represented by other characters, so it made since to me. I made up filecards for all these guys. Maybe I'll throw them online one day.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Yeah, you gotta rock out those file-cards, man...are they gonna be in the same design of those old-school GI Joe collector's cards? haha

  • Never heard of them... I was born in 1991 !

  • wow man just wow this mostly fits together so well. I commented in part 1 that a similar vid of mine is higher paced but this is about the same speed. But this sorta works better if you know what i mean. However mine has higher profile bad guys.

  • chuck norris Expendables 2

  • 0:30 Arny just fully ragdolled a rocket launcher xD

  • It would be fairly impossible to do "Scorpio Force" as an actual full-length movie (with factors such as copyrights and the ages of the actors, of course)...but I could envision this concept as a graphic novel...I'm curious, Uncle Jake: did you illustrate the end artwork with the soldiers of Scorpio Force yourself? Because I say this idea would make a terrific comic book series!

  • Awesome job!!!

  • Bruce Willis should have dedicated himself to do any else BUT action movies

  • I.. I think my balls grew three sizes, this night.

    Kudos, Uncle. Kudos.

  • Holy fuck....that...was fucking awesome......AND USING THE DELTA FORCE THEME AT THE END....FUCKIN ICING ON THE GODDAMN CAKE !!!!!!

  • I just saw The Expendables in theaters, it was so awesome!

  • SEND ALL THESE HOLLYWOOD ACTION HERO GUYS TO IRAQ AND AFGANISTAN :)

AND lets see if their really that tough

  • Haha, I just had a wild idea for a new video for you, Uncle Jake: what about an all-FEMALE Scorpio Force? I just saw an interesting article from "Screenrant" about ass-kicking chick counterparts to the Expendables, and what if they did a version of the upcoming movie consisting of the most badass actresses? I think you could totally pull off a similar video if you're able to amass the most popular tough movie ladies as part of an estrogen-filled Scorpio Force

  • @CesMan83 Dude...I'd think I'd nut within 5 minutes of watching such a grand spectacle

  • WAR! It's Fantastic!

  • Hey Uncle Jake, ever think about doing a "90s Expendables" video, consisted of action heroes from the early to mid 1990s (before the days of overblown CGI and no-talent matinee idol stars)? I've got a few character and actor suggestions if you're interested

  • @CesMan83

Maybe one day. Maybe 90's-00's. It'd have to be a 9 character lineup with no returners from the 80's. We're talking the Rock, Vin Diesel, etc. I've got another one already to post, but I want to get corresponding artwork finished for it like my others. Hopefully in the next few months.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Cool. Among the many action heroes (and their respective actors) I had in mind for the 90s lineup would be (and hopefully you like 'em, too):

    1) Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan ("Patriot Games"; "Clear and Present Danger")

    2) Tommy Lee Jones as Sam Gerard ("The Fugitive")

    3) Keanu Reeves as Jack Traven ("Speed")

    4) Al Pacino as Lt. Vincent Hanna ("Heat")

    5) Brandon Lee as Jake Lo ("Rapid Fire")

However you'd like to set up the story is up to you, bro!

  • @CesMan83

snipes would also be a good choice

  • @booty121212

I agree...his "John Cutter" from "Passenger 57" would be appropriate...however, Uncle Jake wrote somewhere that he doesn't like Wesley Snipes, so that choice would be up in the air, I guess

  • @CesMan83

Oh yeah, I'd throw in Tom Berenger's sharp-shooting Marine sniper Thomas Beckett from "Sniper" in the 90s Scorpio Force, as well

  • Legend

  • I was thinking Matrix as the leader and Rambo as second-in-command.

  • @TheGhostbuster246

Matrix technically would be the leader. McCoy (Norris) would be 2nd based on ranking and military organization. It's all there in the films. But as I've said, I've got my own team leader in mind. And really, anybody can pick their own team structure. That's the cool thing about having 9 stars!

  • I agree with Dutch/ John Matrix but Rambo would have to be 2nd otherwise don't bother giving him a rank because he can outdo any rank!

He's a Medal of Honor Green Beret after all & he could certainly defeat Chuck Norris.

  • @UncleJakeProductions chuck norris is never second, he gonn find you nao D:

  • @Danrakich Actually, Chuck signed the artwork for me. He loved it!

  • @UncleJakeProductions told you he find you :3

  • Also of note, there are only 3 military branches I took artistic license with: Lundgren (Marine Force Recon), Van Damme (Air Force Special Tactics) and Willis (FBI). But these seemed like logical choices based on the films they are in. The other 6 characters all represent the military branches their characters were described as.

  • And for Lundgren, Showdown in Little Tokyo is my favorite of his, so I had to use him from that movie. And I used Sudden Death for Van Damme, cause that's the most Die Hard-type film of his. I used only shoot-em-up films.

  • Thanks for all the compliments! To comment on other stars I could have used: I considered Carl Weathers (Action Jackson), but not much action in that movie. Jackie Chan was another, but he didn't do Hollywood til the 90's. And you've got a slew of B-graders like Rothrock, Dragon Wilson, Lamas, etc. I wanted to use only the top Big Dogs. Many have argued Dudikoff should be out, but the 80's to me means NINJAS. Dudikoff was a no-brainer.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

bro when u doing a part 2? maybe use scenes from predator, hard target or cybord, red scorpion, rambo three, missing in action, die hard 3, just a few suggestions.

  • This reminds me of Hot Shots where they make a parody of the "body count"

  • Who leads the team in the video?

  • @TheGhostbuster246

If I had to guess, it would probably be John Matrix...Rambo's likely to be 2nd in command

  • @TheGhostbuster246

All you have to do is look at the central character in my artwork at the end to know who my leader is. But that's because he's always been my personal favorite action star. But based on the films and characters I used for this, technically Arnold (Matrix) would be team leader, with Chuck (McCoy) in 2nd command. Stallone wouldn't lead. Rambo is too much of a loner to be put in a leadership position.

  • Great editing, that would've been the crown jewel of action movies if it were for real.

  • Very well done set of videos, Uncle Jake! It's a truly neat tribute to our favorite action heroes from back in the day...if I were to make a minor suggestion, Clint Eastwood as Gunnery Sgt (or in this video's case, possible General) Tom Highway from 1986 war film "Heartbreak Ridge" would have been a sweet addition...I could see Highway as possibly the commanding general of the heroes in this clip! Plus, Gary Busey's cop character from 1988's "Bulletproof" would have been great, too

  • @CesMan83

If I were to have used Eastwood, it would have been Dirty Harry. But Eastwood and Bronson are 60's-70's in my opinion. As for Busey, never saw him as an action star.

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Yeah, I realized too late that you already included "Dirty Harry" Callahan in "Scorpio Force: The Beginning" (having seen that one after the 80s one); I guess you're trying to keep in continuity, huh?

Oh man, since you are a fellow fan of the old-school action hero, I totally recommend you check out "Bulletproof", the movie where Gary Busey plays an ex-CIA agent turned cop out to stop terrorists. He practically is a Martin Riggs-style cop in that movie!

  • Good explosions, and I really like the story line :D

  • this is awesome. I would be watching this over and over if I saw this movie as a kid. The new Expendables got nothing on this.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The greatest movies, I'm totally amazed, great job

  • AMAZING A JUST AMAZING .

  • that was extremely awesome I'm speechless i have no speech lol excellent job

  • wtf haha very very nice m8

  • This is the real GI/Contra movie!. This should have been made!.

  • This is such a great video, superb editing, really enjoyed it, the only thing missing is Charles Bronson but other than that fantastic video.

  • nice montage! :D

If these guys really Aim their firearms like that in RL, they won't HIT a DAM THING! LOL!

More or Less shoot each other esp the scenes from Commando.

  • Very cool.

But where's Jet Li, Charles Bronson, Wesley Snipes, Clint Eastwood & Samuel L. Jackson?

Overall, superb video & editing. I'm doing similar videos with action heroes/ stars & this video deserves more than a thousand views

  • @SeanConnery9000

Thanks! Jet Li is out cause he didn't jump into American cinema til the late 90's. Bronson is a 60's-70's guy, even though there were plenty of Death Wishes in the 80's. He's still remembered as a 60's-70's star. Same with Eastwood. As for Snipes, his action flicks were in the 90's and this is really an 80's group. Plus I never was a fan of Snipes. And as for Samuel L. Jackson, really? He's not an action star in my opinion. Certainly not of the 80's muscle types.

  • If Riggs is there, where's Murtaugh?

  • @Ebb1993willneverdie

No Murtaugh because I don't consider Danny Glover an action star.

  • @UncleJakeProductions Why not? After all, Murtaugh is the other main character other than Riggs in the Lethal Weapon series, you can't have Riggs unless you have Murtaugh!

  • @Ebb1993isimmortal

Gibson was Mad Max. He had a history of 80's action flicks. Glover has Murtaugh, a whiny old cop and nothing else. No way does Glover make this team.

  • @UncleJakeProductions All right. But still, he's the second main character of the Lethal Weapon series...

  • @Ebb1993isimmortal

Brandon Lee was one of my favorites and plays Lundgren's sidekick in Showdown, but I didn't include him. The point was to use the definitive 80's Hollywood action stars. Dudikoff gets the 9th spot, cause of the Ninja theme I love. Carl Weathers is the odd man out in my opinion. But the Rockys (Drama) don't count and Predator (Sci-Fi) is out. That left Action Jackson. Not a good movie. And no sequels like American Ninja.

  • Well, I think Brandon is the 90s version of Jet Li overall.

I understand you not including him. Beside Rapid Fire & The Crow, he wasn't that well-known

  • @UncleJakeProductions

Well, I won't go as far as say Roger Murtaugh was nothing else but a whiny old cop; he did prove to be a pretty good shot for an old man. That said, he wouldn't at all fit within "Scorpio Force."

  • I agree. Glover is an actor who just did a few action movies (Predator 2, Lethal Weapon).

Other then that, he's just a guy who plays a cop

  • VERY COOL COLAGE MAN

  • GI Joe should have been like this.

  • I love this man

  • This is awsome!
