  • Also paint the wood with wood sealer or prmer becuase water seeps in around the filler and causes more damage.

  • I nail wire mesh in large holes and prevent the filler from coming out and prevents the filler from chipping at the edges. On cement holes I use cement filler that comes in a one gallon pail (it dries the same color as cement).
