Der Raven hat n paar ganz lustige Sounds drin die man so nicht hinbekommt.. hatte das Teil am Wochenende auch zum ersten Mal in einem Track verwendet :)

Why does The Raven remind me so much of my Roland JX-305.

It's not just because it's BLUE. It sounds very similar & seems to have very similar functions.

I love seeing your videos. They are so inspiring. To think all those sounds come from one synth. Great video & very impressive keyboard skills. 10/10

yes the concept is similar, but the sound charakter is very different. the raven sound is very raw and deep and not hifi like the roland.

@retrosound72 I totally agree. The reason I purchased the JX-305 was all it's abilities & for £100 I couldn't go wrong. Combined with the KS-5 it's a great duo for learning the basics of synthesis. One day when I've mastered the entry level & learned how to play I can check out your videos for what sounds & works best for me.

Too bad Quasimidi is no longer with us.

This is a virtual analog modeling synthesizer; in other words, a synth with hundreds of sampled waveforms, multiple DSPs and a software system which is designed to emulate an analog synthesizer. Each and every one of these things is hand wired- no robotic machinery was used in any stage of production.

The build-up and structure of this synth is very similar to my two Roland JX305 Groovesynths: pattern sequencing, arpeggiators, real-time modifying rotary knobs..

Even patches and sounds are very similar ;)
