Well, Dub Reggae is a lot of remixes so I have no idea who original had this song produced. But I have heard this beat/rhythm on the song "Conspiracy On Neptune" from the album Destroys The Invaders by Prince Jammy.
i have to agree with you midimaster, Scientist is my favourite Dub artist. But there wouldnt be no Scientist without Prince Jammy & King Tubby. They both are great. Jah bless. Dub it!
No one mentioned that Overton Brown (Scientist) is the dark skinned young man in the background with the white button hat and white shirt on!!! He is the best dub producer in the room, just not at that time :)
@midimaster. The man in the cap standing behind Prince Jammy at 1:34 is NOT Scientist. All you guy's posting this wrong information need your eyes checked out. That person is actually PUG CHEMIST or he's otherwise known as PUG the DUB CHEMIST. He was one of King Tubby's young pupils from the late 70s mixing pure Dub Plates for sounds systems and nothing else. He's brother of another Tubby's enginner called PEEGO who was mixing during the Tubby's digital era between 1985 to 89. FACT.

It's the dub of Junior Reid's "Jailhouse", the extended mix (vocal + dub) can be found on 'King Jammy In Roots'.
