ive got 80 range and can hit constant 30s with bolts, so is mage on all the monsters better, or is range at my level just as effective??

it would have helped if u said wat mage lvl u had.. but ur range seems pretty good, they got HIGH def but u will prob kick their asses pretty easily

yer lol, ive got 74 mage .but even tho, this quest is pretty over rated cause i did it with diamond bolts (e) last week, and on the vampire guy i use 2 prayer pots and 3 shark. the smoke guy i used 1 shark , the ice guy i used 2 prayer pots and 4 shark. and with the shaddow dude u can hide behind some rock things if u use range on mage, and i used nothing, just wasted like 10 bolts

i did this quest like yester day took me 4 days and i used wind wave on that guy 2super restores and lobs

I used:Mystic robe top, Mystic robe bottom, fareer helm, air staff.

Spell: Wind wave.

Inventory: Blessed pot, 3 prayer potions,100 blood runes and rest of it sharks.

That's a good method. use protect from melee!

note this: after agreeing that you can kill the dud for the dimont ask how to kill him. I did not ask, lost 2hour of my time trying to figure out how to make the guy make the silver pot...

can you melee him id really rather melee

Melee is pretty hard to pull off, but it's possible. You'd be better off killing him with Magic.

You didn't add all the necessary ingredients. You need a blessed pot, crushed garlic, spice, and blood.

ok i figured it out he regenerates because yur silver pot isnt blessed. The pot should say blessed pot not silver pot. If it says silver pot just go back to the monk on entrana so he can bless it.
