How do you keep your scalp so clear ie the lines are so neat...is it just through regular twisting?

every time i retwist i use a fine tooth comb in the front and for the back i use my fingers to make sure my roots aren't getting tangled up.

i use olive oil and water mix and spray it on my locs and it really works 4 me, and it last a long time
