  • The only thing that really changes with this Act is that critical government services will now only be serviced by an exclusive club which restricts membership according to formal qualifications (and/or extensive proof of experience). Rest of IT not affected. Act needs to be read in its entirety, and more carefully.

  • @althras Check again. CNII is a poorly defined criteria that covers almost all sectors. Would ISP/Mobile operators be considered critical? How about Banking? Banking already has their standards, does this mean they have to conform to these too? If it's for CNII only it should be called CNII Standards Procurements Bill not Computing Professionals Bill. MOSTI statement also says RCP objective to improve all. Contradictory.

  • IT itu mudah, tanpa degree pun boleh terer. Tengok org luar, berapa ramai yang pandai programming sejak di sekolah? Akta bodoh sebegini cuma akan membantutkan pembangunan IT di Malaysia.
