I freakin' LOVE Vertigo. I'm expanding my comics collection and it's almost nothing but Vertigo. The Losers, Hellblazer, The Sandman, Transmetropolitan... Long live Vertigo!!!
I just got around to looking at my graphic novel collection and ive realized without even knowing I have like ALL DC comics, thats psycologically werid
they just have all the stories i want i guess
the only MARVEL comic im considering buying is KICK-ASS but i dont wanna really cross over it would feel werid
it all depends on what you're after, i wouldn't see either are better than one another. vertigo is for the more mature reader while dc focuses more on younger people. although alot of the frank millar type writers out there have turned out a darker batch of dc comics, putting his own little spin on it. i do like vertigo better though, the encyclopedia rocks. good work K -Berg.
When it comes to the capes I do consider my self to be a Marvel man, but ever since Vertigo arrived they have put out the best series I have ever read in comics. Sandman, Preacher, Y: The last man, and fables are with out a doubt the greatest series I have ever read. I have gotten people reading them that don't read comics. The Encyclopedia makes a great gift for people just starting to read the comics.
i admit it, I have a huge crush on Karen Berger and have for more than 2 decades.

@DrScruffy I only have dc comics. They seem more intelligent. Especially things like Watchmen, Sandman, The Dark Knight Returns and V for Vendetta.

whats better vertigo or dc universe

I would have to go with Vertigo. I stated that because, you don't have to deal with the mega events, the change in characters over time.
