I never brought my musical taste in to it, I just commented on the fact that practically everything on that list is melodeath or at least have a lot in common with melodeath. It seems strange that out of all the apparent types and genres you listen to, you chose a selection of extremely similar sounding bands instead of a more varied selection, which led me to think that your listening taste isn't hugely diverse.

You can only have a best when there is something you can measure and compare, for example if you judged songs on which is the hardest to play. As it is, enjoyment of a musical genre cannot be quantified, and so there can never be "the best genre" or even "the best band".

@JimboHammy Sinergy is a side/collabertion band of Alexi Leiho's (Melodic Retro/Glam Metal maybe?!?) chick singer, decent band, has the trademark Alexi style shredding! Older CoB > Newer(ie.Blooddrunk) definately. Ya, EToS isn't the most metal of names, but they are definately metal. Glad you liked the metal \m/ Cheers!
