It's a Japanese guitar made by a company called Teisco. Not sure of the model name. You can get them pretty cheap if you look around a bit, auction sites are a good bet.

eBay!!! Pretty cheap too, I saw a couple very similar to Mr Homme's not that long ago. They were branded under different names, but I think they all came from the same factory. Other names to look out for are Kay and Jedson

Yeah, it does get to be a bit much. There's an MTV (I think) performance, where they just have the effects once in a while, and that works. But here, every cut comes with a special effect. Christ.
