Scientists (cosmologists) do not call the object that "big banged," a singularity. Also, no mention in the video of the cause being related to "god." Why is this video even posted? No argument is made.

Craig's argument is based on the assumption that the Big Bang theory has proven everything came from nothing, which is not true at all. That's because the cosmic singularity is just a mathematical model.
Physicists never said nothing existed before the Big Bang. They're only saying our current laws of physics are inadequate to explain that initial state. Craig is obviously an intelligent person, so I think he's willfully misrepresenting the Big Bang theory to construct his flawed argument.

Darwin's thoughts about the Theory matter little to how it plays out. The evidence for the Theory has brought it and kept it at Theory status, (this makes it solid) Darwin's thoughts about the Theory are irrelevant to how the evidence moves the Theory. We only know that once the universe was a super-dense point of energy. We don't know if this had a beginning. And this is because time doesn't exactly behave like we're used to down in those scales. Down on quantum-levels time isn't flowing like your used to. Craig's argument is based on the assumption that the Big Bang theory has proven everything came from nothing, which is not true at all. That's because the cosmic singularity is just a mathematical model.
Physicists never said nothing existed before the Big Bang. They're only saying our current laws of physics are inadequate to explain that initial state. Craig is obviously an intelligent person, so I think he's willfully misrepresenting the Big Bang theory to construct his flawed argument.

Darwin's thoughts about the Theory matter little to how it plays out. The evidence for the Theory has brought it and kept it at Theory status, (this makes it solid) Darwin's thoughts about the Theory are irrelevant to how the evidence moves the Theory. If he thought something to be speculation that may have been true at the time but doesn't make it true now, as evidence shifts things.

I've had many intellectual and spiritual discussions; and trying to merge those various aspects of life is fun and challenging. I'd be the last person to say that science knows all (mind you, not even science itself says that).

The singularity may have just been a point in the constant expansion and contraction of the universe.
Perhaps it was one of a couple of similar singularities where the expansion of opposing forces created the compression in between and we are only able to observe such a small portion of it that it appears to be all moving away from us.
