  • I don't know why the American envy Dubai?

Always talking about money, Dubai an Golf Arab spend their money in their country.

They don't get a tax to pay it to Israel to kill civilization and building the isolated wall.

  • y do ppl always have to make taller towers...whats the fucking point? they spend millions of dollars just to say the built the tallest tower on earth...

  • View form the top of the spire:

    watch?v=oWVLzVhnYE0

  • deadly lmao

  • No city can match what New York has. They have history all over Old & New side by side.

  • really? history? when was new york incorporated again? 200 years ago?

  • Is there a minimum amount of time needed to have history?

Dubai was incorporated in 1833. New York 1788.

Not saying "no city can match New York" or anything but yes it does have history even before it was a huge, populous place. Back in 1625 NYC was Fort Amsterdam, Dutch headquarters then taken over by British and 1790 torn down after American Revolution.

New York city is probably the most widely known in the world, didn't get there by being boring, unimportant and history-less.

  • Moscow was founded in 1147 lol

  • I am talking about the history of the skyscraper/architecture in New York not the city itself.

  • 0:33 UFO

  • CRANE

  • handkerchief

  • The other buildings look tiny compared to the Burj Dubai! I like the shape of it, it looks kinda cool! It must be really scary at the top! I'm not really a big fan of heights but I would try it if I got the chance. But, what is the point of it? What does it do? Thats what I wanna know!

  • I love this building so much! :-)

  • Dude thanks for the update. But you said Burj Tower, it's Burj Dubai didn't sound bad though but I"m sure since you live there, you know Burj means Tower in Arabic so in a way you said Tower Tower...hehe thanks again cant wait to visit the tower once completed

  • damn i hate toronto's skyline they need more buildings like these

  • yeah same with Auckland

  • I think some cities need to change and others should keep the same building. I think that New York should stay the same, Chicago, London, and even Los Angeles. But they're making skyscrapers that ruin the skyline >.>. I think Toronto Should grow bigger. It would look better unlike growing london into a skyscraper city.

  • Gulf Arabian can rule the world economically, lays in one of the best areas in the map almost in the middle and because of oil, but guess it is too late.

  • Helicopter ????? That is not true, and it is actually sad that you missed one of the most amazing things about the spire, which is that it was assembled INSIDE the tower then lifted up using jacks.

What Helicopter can lift a 300 Ton - 100 meter spire to 800 meters in the air ???

You insulted SOM engineers, and we are her counting on you to give us an update !!!

  • The spire was brought up inside the tower and jacked up piece by piece. There is no helicopter on earth that could lift a 100m+ spire by itself.

  • gulf arabs and their stupid expensive toys... instead of investing in research and education, and lifting their societies to a 21st century society... they build stupid, ugly, un-economical building...

  • What do you mean "do you have evidence" for the spire being brought by helicopter. Of coarse it was brought by helicopter, how the fuck would they get it up there with helicopter.

  • i love my country

  • When this bulding will be finish ??

  • soon

  • Very cool video. "Burj Tower" doesn't make much sense though, does it :)

  • haha "tower tower" :D

  • hehe thats funny! :3

    tower tower, haha.

Sounds like one of those japanese translations, where the japanese people get it wrong and say stuff like, "Super new toy best ever world buy now"

    :)

  • brought in by helicopter? lol

    do you have evidence?

  • more like space shuttle. I live in California and can probably see my house from up there.

  • It's not topped-out yet, it still has 18 meters left to rise!

  • Wow absolutely amazing. They are almost done.
