king intermediate symphonic band owned this song. any band conductors out there. try slow down the tempo just a little and bring the tuba(s) out like crazy. it gives the song a hella lot more body and a dramatic effect. and on measure 118, over exagerate the forte and bring up the treble. that's how we played it, it sounded great. but dont do any of these changes for competition, thats suicide lol

I have to play this song in band in a few weeks. I expect this to be twice as better as ours, not only because it's played by university students, but also the variety and quality of the instruments. Though our quantity of instruments is greater (obviously because the entire fifth-grade is required to play), we only have second-hand flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and xylophone-y things, whatever... :P wish me luck!! :D
