i want to do a summary of this.... sonoko said she lost her ID belt so what we're saying is that kaito kid who disguised as hakuba, actually stole sonoko's ID belt and used it... so that's how it is!!!!! Thanks for reminding me of this situation
I don't care what you guys say i dont care about the evidence or anything else and i dont want to care about it.What I want is watch three of them - Kaito Kid(the real one wearing his usual white outfit),Conan and Heiji - together as a team and investigate together like in this video and make a teamwork to defeat their enemies.And that will be the best DC movie ever.
It starts before this actually... I was watching it earlier and picked up on an earlier hint that you might not catch unless your paying close attention...
In the very beginning, theclient mentions that Mouri is the 5th detective to try. One is still trying (Heiji), one failed in his attempt (the one that he "kills" to convince Mouri & Conan), and the other two that have already failed (I don't remember the names, but their pictures are shown). No where does he mention Hakuba.

What I don't understand while reading all the comments is that some people are confused about Kaitou Kid disguising as Hakuba. The shadow of the wing glider, the paint on his shirt AND on Sonoko's ID (why are people arguing about the color? they look basically the same, maybe it dried up), and Conan's words at the end of the movie. What doesn't make sense?! Conan confirms that Hakuba was really Kaitou Kid. Either that, or Kaitou and Hakuba were secretly working together. O.o Formed a conspiracy.
I think it's kinda sweet that this shows he took notice of Sonoko. a lot of clues usually relate to her, don't they? and she's somehow nearly always around when he appears xD
I had only noticed the watch, the glider and the paint, though. not the dots and heiji's phone. nice deduction!
You know.... I hadn't even thought about this the first times I've watched the movie. I adore this one (probably my fav hus far). I'll have to watch it again and pay closer attention to other hints, because I definately think you ahve a point. :)
I feel sorry for Conan, Haibara, and Heiji who couldn't enjoy the roller coaster ride because they had to worry about the ID for the whole duration of the ride.

Your right about everything.There is no legitimate proof that Kid is Hakuba.
But you have to read between the lines.Why would they waste time talking about "missing ID's" and "paint" when it has nothing to do with the story? Everything is put in for a reason. When you put all the pieces together, the signs show that it was in fact Kid.
Detective Conan puts brain teasers like this all the time, to make the viewers detectives too.

what clued me in on kaito,in this movie, was the blue jeans. i have read magic kaito manga before and am atill reading and watching detective conan. i don't think someone like hakuba even owns ONE pair of blue jeans...he always either wears a suit, his sherlock outfit, or his uniform. he said before in the manga it looked unprofessional. the other hint was the paint.
I think the biggest piece of evidence is the fact 'Hakuba' is wearing blue jeans. I doubt the guy even owns a single pair yet here he is wearing them.

I think the disappearance of "Hakuba " after he saved Conan when he hit his leg is also considered a proof that he is in fact KID in diguise. Because after that "Hakuba" disappears then KID appear in the Miyama Building.

Your right about everything.There is no legitimate proof that Kid is Hakuba.
But you have to read between the lines.Why would they waste time talking about "missing ID's" and "paint" when it has nothing to do with the story? Everything is put in for a reason. When you put all the pieces together, the signs show that it was in fact Kid.
Detective Conan puts brain teasers like this all the time, to make the viewers detectives too.

@ryvlyn - wrong, Hakuba is not from kido but real if you can get that 10th anniversary book and stare inside, you will know that hakuba is not from kido.

the paint can in the movie when conan &* hakuba got chased are all closed. no can is opened. it's hard to see what color is inside the paint can. then you guys claim it must be orange. this is too ridiculous.
more ridiculous than the england missed goal yesterday.

@EXKenshin - Hakuba is not from kido, konandetektiv had just opposed this, inside piggytay96's tape there are evidence showing why hakuba is not kido.
kido is disguise expert but there are some evidence showing that it's not enough to prove that Sonoko ID and hakuba's shirt are from the paint. and that person stated that the time when paint fell there is no image or scene that what is the color of paint. so this video is fake.

what clued me in on kaito,in this movie, was the blue jeans. i have read magic kaito manga before and am atill reading and watching detective conan. i don't think someone like hakuba even owns ONE pair of blue jeans...he always either wears a suit, his sherlock outfit, or his uniform. he said before in the manga it looked unprofessional. the other hint was the paint.

I think the disappearance of "Hakuba " after he saved Conan when he hit his leg is also considered a proof that he is in fact KID in diguise. Because after that "Hakuba" disappears then KID appear in the Miyama Building.
Is it coincidence or is it beacuse they cannot appear at the same time since
"HAKUBA IS KID IN DISGUISE"
It's just an intuition though, i don't have concrete evidence.
