As a current Mark VIII owner (for the past 9 years) this is indeed sad! I'm so happy though that the Mark protected your wife! I recently had the drivers door panel off and notice that these cars have tubular side impact beams, very thick I might add. They appear to be designed that in a side impact they would be pushed up around seat cushion height! I was thinking "Wow what a safe feature in a side impact. I know see its' merrits and you look at the door it only went in so far due to this
What the hell is wrong with you. His wife was in a horrible accident and you are making fun of him? And believe it or not, some people have the ability to love something that they spend a lot of time with. And if my car saved my wife's life, I'd love it too. Get a life you loser.
dang..... this brought teasr to my eyes... such a beautiful car... i would cry if it was my mark....im glad the car is strong enough to keep your wife safe...
Glad your wife is okay, sorry to hear about the car. That was a rare and beautiful car. This is why I buy big land yacht luxury cars. I own a 1992 Cadillac Deville that I think would do just as well as that Lincoln of yours.
Those are fantastic cars! Glad your wife is okay. My wife has a pearl white '97 LSC and I have a bright toreador red '96 Base. At least now I know they'll survive a t-bone! Your're a lucky guy.
I'm saddened to see the car is "gone". Glad your wife came through relatively unscathed...How many miles were on that car? It looks exceptionally clean! I have a 1997 black/black LSC that just hit 350,000 miles! It is very clean, painstakingly so!!!
I believe it had about 80,000 miles on it...yes the car was pretty much perfect...I had the car only about a year...Really liked the car a lot...Traded a 96 GT Mustang
Too bad about your wife being hurt and losing a good car. Congratulations on the fact that your wife was in a good car, and it protected her. If she was in a Prius, you might have lost her. Glad she's OK.
yep, you're right, i had an accident with a 94 mercury cougar, and i came out with no injuries... those are very well made cars...too bad for the car, i wanna drive one of those...
