  • Best song for casino betting

  • Wonderful song. It always seemed to play when I was going for a long walk exploring the desert...this one and Johnny Guitar. Absolutely wonderful songs for just walking around, seeing the sights of the Mojave desert.

  • when i go Overseas on deployment.ima play this on base.

  • It's German and means "Shining trumpet"

  • yeah...this seemed to play when i couldnt find a secret sleuth entrance to a location...sadly depressing. guess thats my Mojave luck

  • I remember i was getting it on with a gommorah prostitute then this song came on my pimp-boy 3BILLION

  • if veronica walked into the room naked (not saying want to see that), this would be the song

  • @nroland99 lol wtf? cass? lol, jk

  • @EverybodysRussia lol jk!

  • For the record, the Assault Carbine is a Colt Model 733. The Service Rifle isn't any particular rifle, but it's like an AR-15 with the AR-10's stock and the M16A1's handguard, but wooden.

  • I think the doctor guy that fixes you up in goodsprings, is the players character from Fallout 3. He's from a fault, he had done a lot of traveling, and "had something taken from him." Like his father? No way to really know, but I think he might be.

  • @rbh1138

Nope. Can't be. The doctor in FO:NV is pretty old and the lone wanderer in FO3 leaves Vault 101 in 2277 and New Vegas takes place roughly four years later.

  • @rbh1138 He grew up in Vault 21...

  • @rbh1138 No, vault 21 was thing that was taken away from him ho

  • It took me 2 hours to find this song. THE FUCK!

  • they should make a fallout where it was right after the bombs first fell so like you can see how things turned bad after they were detonated

  • <3 fallout... <3 the music.... <3 apocolypse?... perhaps.

  • fucking amazing, finally find it

  • i still think they need to make a fallout game that takes place DURING the war, haven't the slightest idea what kind of fps game that'd be, but im sure it'd be a more generic fps. Ofc all our favorite guns would be in it, but the multi player would need to NAIL it. Im still waiting for a fallout coop experience.

  • @poonjoo that would not be a fallout game, fallout is the radioactive aftermath of a nuclear explosion but yes i agree with the co op thing though

  • @poonjoo It may be a little closer to what Mass Effect is... only sand-box and not as futuristic lol

  • @poonjoo if u have fallout 3 then u would realise that they have a DLC called (OPERATION ANCHORGAE) which is not much if u have played it but you have to realise that it was during the war and in a soldier's perspective. Well before the appocalypse of 2077. but the point is thats as far back as fallout creators will take u into the past. well and also the mission of retreving the lone wander's father at the vault where u went into a simulation of experiencing the past life of americans.

  • @poonjoo I can Imagine it somewhat like COD.

  • @poonjoo The war only lasted a few minutes

  • @mvwil two hours actually

  • poonjo nice said :) that made me think....

  • man imagine what it could have been like before the war, bunch of socialites sitting in some casino etc. Talking about the war over in china and how we were flooring China, then suddenly a robot comes up to offer drinks completely breaking the whole 20-40's vibe. I mean that aside its amazing they managed to cram so many modern things (even things like the weapons m4 etc) and still make you feel like you were in a retro old school america.

  • @poonjoo

I'm pretty sure the assault carbine is actually an M16, which was invented in the 50's. (Despite it not being a carbine, the gun's model looks more like an M16.) Also, I don't believe the robots break the whole 20's-50's vibe of the game, as it is retro-futuristic. You can see why the people back then would imagine technology advancing like that in the future.

  • @FNVSoundTrack nope assault carbine is a car-15, service rifle is an ar-10. When i said that i mean the casual looker would watch and be like oh wait whats that doing here? Thats the reaction alot of my friends had when they played the game. Its got a background/atmosphere i haven't enjoyed in a singleplayer game since dead space and half life series.

  • @poonjoo

Yeah, I understand what you mean now.

  • @FNVSoundTrack And if you already knew that, I suck :D.

  • @FNVSoundTrack People back in those days thought we would all have flying cars, So robots aren't that bad, And you're right, The assault carbine is an M16, Or atleased modelled like one.

  • @FNVSoundTrack Acctually, the Assualt Carbine is a M4 Carbine for our timeline. And just to be a nerd, I will explain it to you :P. Since we are dealing with the Fallout universe (robots, plasma and laser weaponary, and retro rockets), most weapons in the Fallout Universe are more advanced than weaponary-wise (obviously). So they were able to develop Pitcanny rails, Lasers sights, and all that jazz before we even thought up the ideas.

  • @FNVSoundTrack no the service rifle is the m16 or ar15 back in the prototype stage poonjoe is right allthough I still think its an m4

  • @FNVSoundTrack

The Assault Carbine is neither an AR-15, M4, nor a CAR-15,

    It's an Assault Carbine

  • @poonjoo It's not meant to be totally set in old times. It's retro-futuristic, as it has been with all Fallout games.

  • @poonjoo I belive thats called steampunk but this isnt even close to steam its a hole new perspective on old time modern days. Think about the cold war though its like we and russia both said if we cant be the superpower of the world we'll just destroy it. Ever read on the beach I belive thats the title crazy short story about Alstrailia and inhabitants living their last days out freely.... Nuclear halocaust is a deep description of being alone. Just my ideas scrambled onto a page :)

  • @FichSKillroeye It is. Steampunk is how people in the Victorian era would believe technology advanced.

  • @inukirby992 more like diesel punk i think bud

  • Eheheh "Strahlende Trompete" means (roughly translatet) "Radiant Trumpet"...Get it? RADIANT...because of the nuclear fallout? huh? :D

  • Favorite song in the game, it's absolutely fabolous.

  • lol this isn't a german song...

  • @Adeazagra so why does it has a german name then?

translation is like... "Shiny Trumpet" OR "Radioactive Trumpet"

i guess they've named it german just for this pun xD

  • @Adeazagra well the author of this song, Gerhard Trede, sounds pretty germanic to me

  • Who knew this would be called a name like Strahlende Trompete?

  • @12fig who knew this would be a german song? oO
