@droppingbombs I get what you're saying, but for a teacher to act as some do (yelling and what not) is inexcusable.

Plus, when I attended fake college (i.e. community college), I had read more books than my damned existential philosophy teacher. And you know you can't make the professor look bad by correcting him. He taught the entire class bullshit, but I liked him as a person. Point being, degrees shouldn't be necessary in our world today for employment. Some are naturals.

@algol291 whenever anyone is pushed to their limits they will fly off the handle teachers included (they are human after all) .the problem with kids nowadays is that they think pissing off teachers is cool. i do agree philosophy courses are pointless however you must have your own philosophy about life in order to progress. and degrees arent necessary it depends in what feild you are working. for example in construction you can make 30-40$ an hour without a hgh school diploma
