@BoyBrainiac In Starcraft 2, you can click on your command center/nexus/hatchery 1 time only and automatically rally your workers to the minerals every time they spawn. You have to manually move every new worker to the minerals in Starcraft 1.

@TheInfinite91 In starcraft 1 you could only select 12 units, so having 3 control groups of units wasn't uncommon. Hence the 1a2a3a term was describing people 'a-moving' or just attacking without much control into the enemy.
