@PerversePoster as long as that "music" made by bieber or spears is able to reach someone's mind and is able to fullfil some kind of inspiriation, its actually art, objectively seen. i just want to point out that music reaching someone and setting something up "deep inside" is some kind of art.. you can like ir or you can hate it, but its still - as a matter of fact - art.

Obviously this is a more philosophical point of view and open to debate, but something tells me that when it was decided that music was a form of art, those responsible for the distinction had no concept of pop culture. And that is what the previously mentioned "artists" produce; pop culture, just as they are them selves are little more than products of pop culture. If they're artists, they're fakes at best.

achja? und wieso? wenn ne base und ne hat drinnen wär, dann wärs für dich minimal oder was? was ist es denn dann, wenn es wie minimal nur ohne base und hat ist? warum sich denn so fest fahren? das ist musik, die mit minimaler instrumenten- und tonfolge den maximalen effekt rausholt. ob da jetzt ne base mit geklapper hintendran ist, ist doch erstmal hintergründig.

filmmusik ist oft auch minimalistisch. und nur weil sie keine 4/4 base hat, hat sie "genau garnix" mit minimal am hut?
