  • There was nothing in this vid about cost comparisons or what must be done to allow your oil fired furnace to run on bio D. I applaud the efforts and would like to see more of this in the future for the US. However, it seems to me that the process is a bit of an energy hog to produce the product.

  • Popular Science once had an article on a concept where a home had an automobile engine running on natural gas, that not only produce the heat for the home, but also electricity. Biodiesel would seem to be a better fuel source for such a concept. Think about it with a traditional heater the only energy you are capturing is the heat, why not capture the power of the heat with an engine?

  • no I am going to heat my house a boiler will run on alot of different fuels I have heard of people useing old motor oil to run the boiler not sure I would do used motor oil but interesting
