  • He has flashes at times

  • Go cowboys lol

  • Harbaugh will take care of Alex finally a real offense

  • we can all see the potential in alex smith, we just havent given him a good chance to express it

  • all this kid needs to do is stop being nervous. stop being so cautious. Let it fly homie.

  • 9ers rule!

  • Yes, Alex Smith is a coach and team killer. 49ers, I love you but the front office makes terrible decisions. Get his useless cracker ass to the seahawks.

  • Fuck alex smith, he's gotten 2 head coaches fired.....please mr. harbaugh, for your sake, get rid of his ass!

  • @FLgr8 2 mediocre coaches with no offensive philosophy except for run Gore up the middle 50 times a game

  • this is the WORST song in the world PERIOD.

  • Love the niners always have but ALEX MUST GO

  • Alex smith is a good quarterback........ But sometimes he needs to liven the fuck up and make good decisions

  • go alex u the man

  • So far I am right what a performance by alex smith this afternoon. thanks for causing us most of the game. to all you smith supporters..........rot in a ditch..lol

  • Excellent video Reat, like I tell all the bashers, haters and Fauxfans as legendary as Brett Favre is he was only able to do his job being comfortable in his system and having a decent O-line to keep him on his feet.

  • @soulmanplaya3 your damn right bruh. People think that because your a numberone pick that you should play like this is Madden 11. Just plug and go. People are idiots if you ask me

  • @jfliguy what did i tell ya..lol. maybe he'll get better. lets hope.

  • All the SMITH haters, go and rot in a ditch somewhere, this is 9ers season and the QB needs fan support more than anyone else on the team. Funny how when players catch the ball they get lots of love and the QB get a little but when passes are decent and not caught the QB sucks.

  • @soulmanplaya3 DAmn you speak the truth bruh. Could not have said it better myself

  • @soulmanplaya3 49er fans should not be naive and realize how Alex Smith is hurting the team. We know it, experts know it, and the other players know it.

  • @cory184 Experts lol! Harbaugh says otherwise and so do I, Alex was never the main problem is he perfect no, but the D, O line and Playbook the past 5 years have been beyond mediocre, Alex bashers should not be naive and realize the real reasons for the 9ers problems, clearly the true Expert Jim Harbaugh sees it the way I do

  • The season starts soon. go niners.

  • Over his 5 yrs playing a couple of full yrs., and some yrs he got benched he has thrown a total of 37 td"s and has thrown a awesome probowl performance 43 int"s and he has also fumbled 30 times losing the ball 14 times. My question is is how many pts did that give our opponents, and how many loses did that give us? WHY IN THE FUCK IS HE STILL STARTING? This me very frustrated as a niners fan..........who's with me? I don"t want to hear a pitty party for him he just sucks.

  • @devdtm Oh my word. You are trying to rally people together like they over due in these movies wiht speeches and then I can how you said this with the masses in front of you "WHY IN THE FUCK IS HE STILL STARTING?!" You probably said that to make it uplifting. Whos wiht me? D as a fan I know why your frustrated but screaming the same thing over and over is not going to change Mikes mind.

  • @jfliguy he'll ya i am trying to rally people ya might as well start somewhere lol. Why do you sit here and argue with people? Why do you defend Alex Smith? Are you Alex Smith? If so go to Canada and play lmao. Cory 184 knows what he is talking about. Thats all we have right now.....bullshit we could've done something in the offseason at that position. I say if a. smith plays like a blind retarded midget.......start carr or davis. I was for change last yr. but why not waste another season.

  • @devdtm Finally, someone who has not jumped on to the Alex Smith Bandwagon. Of course we want Smith to do well next season, but our apprehension is justified.

  • @devdtm D, D, D we have been at this for over what 5 6 months. Tsk Tsk Tsk. Look whatever man rally your troops. GEt the, up and arms. The moment this team is rolling and if Alex is leading you will not be aloud on the wagon. Matter of fact, from what the fuck I have been reading, they done fucked up and gave that man confidence and if the team sees that shit you should be open about that. Where do you get your info at about the 9ers anyway?

  • @jfliguy I dont think we intend to change his mind. It does make us feel better though. knowing we can always rip on someone holding our beloved team back.

  • @cory184 Cory and D now found eachother. The Rally starts. I can imagine the Anti- Alex Masses together just bad mouthing him and even when the team is doing fine they still will say Alex is a problem.

  • @jfliguy wow.

  • @devdtm I like your take on football. Let's be football friends. lol

  • @jfliguy Here is what I don't think you understand about our position. We hope Alex Smith plays well. It's for the good of the team that he plays well. I believe that mine an D's apprehension about him are justified. God forbid that after five lack luster seasons of disappointment that we are a little tenative to put our trust in him. Your right! what grounds do we have to ever doubt the magnificent Alex Smith. I guess he must be the fucking second coming of Joe Montana

  • 1, when you talk football with me do not bring up a legend into the convo. No one especially me is saying he is going to be the second coming of no one. Two, I really do not care where you guys stand why you two do no tlike Alex Smith. I respect your opinions on the matter. WE can disagree. I Can surly tell you this your argument or reasoning is not changing my mind no way. That is how you all feel. What gets me up in arms is when someone says something ignorant about starting Nate Davis.

  • @jfliguy I'll give you that. We know very little about Nate Davis. In the past when Nate Davis has came up in the convo it was only in the context of being open minded about giving him some playing time. Especially if Alex Smith is continuing to struggle.

  • @jfliguy this is to cory184 too. lets just enjoy the season and what ever happens........happens. lets get jarmarcus russell. just kidding.

  • @devdtm I was thinking the same thing. Lets bring Jamarcus in here so we can win the bowl. He has the codine in his cup and he can def do it

  • r@devdtm OMG, Jaramcus Russel! Biggest bust since Joey Harrington! Go Ducks!

  • @cory184and what alex smith iz the greatest

  • eghhh.. really bad song..

  • I love the 49ers Reatardsinc! If you truly love them, why would you make a highlight video of Alex Smith. He is fucking awful!

  • @cory184 WOW!!!!! I guess you would want someone like Nate Davis who is still struggling to get a grasp of the offense or Jamarcus Russell to play QB for the 9ers. WOW!!!

  • @jfliguy Look im not saying that there are any better options out there. Its unfortunate but Alex Smith is all we have right now. That being said, I dont believe that you truly believe that Alex Smith is by any means great. He has ability but he is a low intelligence QB that continues to make poor decisions. As far as Nate Davis goes. I say if Alex Smith comes out and plays like he usually does early on then give Nate Davis a chance. Tom Brady was untested when he took over for bledso.

  • @cory184 You know something at first I had this big ass come back for you, but it seems like your reply to me is helping me out so bring your facts to the table. FACTS not opinions. Why is Nate Davis the answer?

  • @jfliguy What the Hell are you reading. When did I say Nate DAvis was the answer? Ya, if Alex Smith comes out a sucks like he usually does why not Give Nate DAvis a shot. Not becaus he is the answer but because well its not hard to play better than Alex Smith.

  • @cory184 I asked for facts and your not helping your case. 1 Nate is not the answer at this point in his career. He is having a hard time reading the playbook, and getting everything together so if he comes in and stinks up the joint he is doing way worse than Jamarcus. We as 9er fans like Nate to see him on that level. 2 Alex is doing hella better than you think. I mean for someone who has not played for a year an a half he has put up good numbers.Like I say we are spoiled as 9er fans.

  • @jfliguy You want facts? ok, Fact is that you are right. Nate Davis is not the answer. Neither is Alex Smith. Two years of terrible play does not make up for half a season of slight improvement does not mean he has what I takes to take the team to the next level. Think about all the great teams over the past decade. They all have great QB's. Colts have peyton. Partiots have Brady. Saints have Brees. Great Qb's take good teams to the next level. I don't believe Alex Smith is the guy to do that.

  • @cory184 Hmm... You named great teams. You know what great teams have to make them so great. CONSISTANCY!!!!!!!!!!! Something that Alex Smith has not had. I am sure you read alot when people say that he has not had it. So he has had horrible play. Lets see if you throw his rookie year at me think about who was on the roster. If you throw his 3rd year at me think about what what happened then. He busted his shoulder and had to learn a new scheme. Please your trying to hard. Come at me correct

  • @jfliguy hmmm....what kind of pre suppositions do you make about people that you always assume that there opinions are uneducated. I have watched Alex Smith for the past 4 or 5 years. I already said once. Now that he has a solid team and a solid base to work form I really do hope he does well. Bottom line is that this year is a make or break year for him. The stars are aligning for him now its up to him to to play well. He does not have to play great but he does have to play smart.

  • @cory184 You know something, you can not and will not win this argument. Your argment is based on Madden and because he had shit thrown at him his career so far it means he can not win. Wow no matter what happened you think he can not win. My boys are right talking to people who do not know football is a waist of time. What ever you feel why he can not play overshadowns the 9er brass. You win and I have no need in really coming back at you.

  • @jfliguy What? What the hell are even saying? expressing an opinion is not a matter of winning or losing because an opionion is not something that can be proven wrong or right. Not to mention you spend more time trying to discredit my opinions by making claims that have no evidense to back them up. Quote"My argument is based on Madden." What does that even mean? At least I didnt jump onto the Alex Smith Bandwagon like you did when he has done little to in still any faith in me.

  • @cory184 Do you sincerly not believe in having a debate that has two opposing sides. When you turn a discussion into a right or wrong situation where your opinion is brilliant and anybody who disagrees is an idiot it makes you sound like a politician.

  • @cory184 I am not going to knock you for feeling the way you do, but bruh your sounding like a disappointed fan instead of a real fan. If you want to be pissed off at Alex Smith because he is not throwing TDs left and right then hell I understand. Since I know football and I understand the ins and outs I know what is going on. go to sfgate.com to get your 9er updates

  • @jfliguy I love the direction the 49ers are going. They have great receivers, A very underratted back in Frank Gore. A very stout run defense and hopefully with the addition of Taylor mays a better passing D. There o line should improve which will help Alex Smith. In the case of Alex Smith in 2005 there was so much Hype that only lead to dissappointed. However, Singletary has shown that he makes the talent around him shine so who knows. This is a make or break year for Smith.

  • @cory184 Amen to you that's what Ive been trying to say the last 3 seasons. jifligayguy doesn't know football very well. cory 184 i agree with you.

  • Alex aint a terrible player. just wait till next season. we ganna have more protection and hes more confident and knows more what hes doin.

  • That 4th and 1 20 yard scramble against AZ during prime time for the season opener in 07 was awesome, especially when they zoom up to that chick covering her eyes just before the play. Too bad Jackson dropped the sure TD and battle fumbled at the 1 yard line during that drive though.

  • I will miss Shaun Hill. Goodluck in Detroit

  • every year smith started and stayed healthy he has improved. how good can he be? don't know. but if he improves upon last year play the niners should make the playoffs at least.

  • YESSIR.

  • I have a ? for people how can the 49ers get 7 to's from the bears and only score 20 pts. I KNOW ALEX SMITH,FRANK GORE AND THE DEFENSE DID THEIR JOB. Also give me 5 reasons why alex smith is so good

  • 1) Alex Smith has never had consistancy in his career. If you keep changing either OC and personal, you know this as well as I do that it stunts your career. 2) He finally has the personal to grow with. 3) The team as a whole was inconsistant not just Alex Smith so call out Vernon and other skilled position players for fuckin off games. 4) Alex has shown what he is capable of doing. 5) I really do not care if you like him or not. In the end we will see who will go back on their words.

  • I asked what makes him so good. I didn't ask for excuses. There is a saying and it goes like this, don't tell me about the labor pains show me the baby! He was drafted quite a while ago and has showed really nothing that has impressesd me or a lot of fans. It's not about joe or steve you keep bring that up. so really what makes him good. The only thing I can think of is he's mobile. He's not very accurate, he's arm strengh is fair, and his decision making right now sucks.

  • Those are your opinions and no matter what they are not valid. I never brought up Joe and Steve. You did so get off of that. Alex Smith is his own man, so lets not go there. Now Why didn't they start Alex last year. Hmm, if I recall the preseason play calling tailored to the same as Shaun Hill. Now if I am a coach, and Alex did not go anything spectaular then why make the change. Now from what I got from reading the newspapers is that the team realized that the run based offense kept hurtin them

  • You brought up that everyone was spoilled by joe and steve a month ago man look at the comments. I'm just looking at him for the player he is. Those days are over, but you proably right some people are spoiled with those to qb's. Now lets get to that ? what makes him good?

  • There is a difference in that comment. When I said that people are spoiled from the success of Steve and Joe, is because they are. If you notice a grip of comments keep coming up about them. You read the comments Alex is not like Joe, and he is not like Steve. Well no shit. Thats why I say that we are 9er fans are spoiled by them. Alex has shown that he can be a star. He has shown that he has what it takes. He just needs that push.

  • If the 9ers got involved in a shootout with Shaun Hill they were going to lose. You know that as well as I do. Now you know what I do not care if you like Alex Smith, but the debate is good convo. I believe that Alex now has the opporitunity to be good. Now opporitunity is not syaing he is going to be good. If your such a 9er fan that you scream to be, then you should know that what made the team good was consistancy from the front office to the ball boys.

  • I agree with that. My question is, is why do they keep him around I just don't see anything from video or what I've watched or read. He's back up at best.

  • Thats your opinion. Coaching staff sees it different. Like I said we will see come week 5 who is right and who is wrong.

  • In the end bruh, we both go back and forth about the man. In the end, it will come down to next year and who will be eating their words. I Don't care what anyone else thinks about Alex, but I give him the benefit because of what was asked of him and the organization did not support him like they should have.

  • Another question for ya. Why didn't they start him at the beginning of last year? Now that has to make ya think what did Singletary see that we didn't? My ? is why is he still there. I hope im wrong and will be the 1st to admit I was wrong. I like winning man but this guy I don't know. I know he's had his troubles but he still should be playing at a higher level.

  • Here's a question for ya! How can a team get 7 turnovers and only 20 pts. I KNOW ALEX SMITH. BEARS GAME LAST SEASON. FRANK GORE DID HIS JOB.

  • when is alex run and make plays he reminds me of stve young the 49ers may be back to the glory days

  • hi guys

  • Why did you remove my comment?

  • We good for 2010!

  • Why is anybody trying to knock on Smith, he's accurate, mobile and can run, plus he's got a ton of talent around him now. I bet Reno that my NINERS win the Super Bowl next year the odds were 40 to 1, but I like my chances, we are only a few players away and I think we can pick up what we need in free agency and the draft.

  • I have been trying to figure that one out also. Just a bunch of ass clowns that think he can't. What gets me the most is that for the numbers he put up compare close to Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Donovan McNabb and Carson Palmer. He even has better numbers than Pro Bowler David Garrard. Yet he has no accuracy

  • Your from a planet but dude, but its not earth. get real man seriously

  • I guess ever since 02 and 03 when Dennis Erickson, was asked to be the coach and they were shitty ever since, that must be Alex's fault. They had no talent, the team looked very very horrible, but yeah when Alex was drafted he was supposed to bring out the best out of everyone right then and there. Like I said everyone is spoiled by Joe and Steve. We can even include Jeff Garcia. That is sad

  • I love the things you've stated on here jfliguy. I love the 49ers and I love to see their progress. A TRUE Niners fan supports his QB. Alex Smith WILL be a Pro Bowler in the near future. He went 18-12, TD-INT ratio, passed 61%, and ended the season with an 81.5 passer rating. Numbers don't lie, and watching him play solidifies that. Smith threw better against GB's stingy secondary than Tony Romo. Romo has a MUCH better O-Line. Smith makes huge strides every week. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

  • Thanks man, I really appreciate your comment and feedback on the matter. I read a grip of your comments and it like a handful of us we brought facts, but not just feelings. Stats don't lie. I just look forward to training camp, and seeing how Alex, Crabby, Vernon, Josh, Delaini, and Jason gets everything together. I know with what they have they will have an outstanding offense.

  • To be honest with you, as you can tell there are users on here bringing facts to the table about Alex Smith, and then there are people who are bringing nothing but pure hatred cause he is not like Peyton Manning. Like I told one person, and I will say this, you Alex Smith haters remind me of these damn fans who like the Cowboys. All they do is knock Tony Romo, when he produces, and when shit goes wrong its his fault. Same as Alex. What about the other players on the squad? They play too.

  • Very well said jfliguy, the haters need to "shit, or get off the pot". They have something stupid to say, they need to back it up with substantial RECENT facts, or they can just fuck themselves into oblivion.

  • He went 17-28 for 202 and a td pass. I wonder whats going to be said now

  • Considering all the bullshit this guy has gone through,, the BULLSHIT........the inconsistencies...........NO QB , NO AARON RODGERS, NO QB in the NFL............WOULD be able to recover as this kid has recovered. This is it, we see him progress......He will break out next year......the potential is there.

All the complete bullshit.....look at the history. his only complete season was in 06.....

he barely turned 20 when he came into the NFL.

    lol ! he's only 25. give him a break... shit !!!

  • Thank you. That kills me that we as 9er fans are spoiled from Super Joe, and Steve. We as a 9er nation need to learn that not every QB is going to be a pro bowler every year with so much bullshit and inconsistancies in their career. I applaud Mike Singletary for sticking wiht him and saying hey lets see where he can go because they are going to be consistant from this point on. Peyton Manning would not be a prolofic passer if Tom Moore was not in his corner every year of his career.

  • @CELIBERICO

Aww man! I'm not the profanity type, but totally agree with all that you said.

  • @CELIBERICO THANK YOU!!!

  • Like the ESPN said where wating come on lets MOVE ON He WAS GREAT IN COLLEGE BUT NOT IN THE NFL. 49ers fans he's not the next Montana or young baby we need to move on. GO NINERS

  • WHO GIVES A FUCK WHAT ESPN SAYS??? WHO SAID THAT? Trent Dilfer? Tim Hasselback? Get your own opinion. Damn if ESPN says that Tom Brady is better than John Elway you going to believe them?

  • No you dumdshit I'm agreeing with them. Are you one of those smithbots who won't give up on his sorry ass? Oh yeah Tom Brady is better than Elway there's an opinion for ya!

  • You can agree all you want with them. Who gives a fuck? One if you say well like what ESPN says that means you let them dictate your opinion. FUCK ESPN. Two you dumb dip dildo, Name one QB who is a pro bowler that has had no stability as Alex Smith. You draft him number 1, but you want him to be the savior of the team. You sorry fuck up, its a shame that as a 9er fan we were spoiled by Joe Montana, and Steve Young, but they had consistancy. Alex didn't. Get off his balls, and see what happens.

  • VERY TRUE. VERY VERY TRUE.

  • They also said Steve Young was no Joe Montana and look how he turned out...

  • he wasn't joe he was steve so far alex is alex............hmmmmmmmm

  • @devdtm Straight up, that was the 80's and the 90's. That dynasty died in 99. I really hate to say that. This is a new time and a new era, so quit comparing players to players in the past.

  • @49erFaithful6T9 Faithful, no matter what bruh, I really feel Alex is not getting his respect andno one is understnading what the hell happened. Everyone is too busy knocking him because he is not like Kurt Warner throwing TD passes instead of realizing that he came into a bad situation. Alex will be alright

  • Finally a 49ers fan that is understandable but you know what though bro. Let the haters hate on Alex Smith is just gonna make him better and stronger.

  • I am going to add you on my list to keep in contact with you. We see eye to eye. I have been battlin someone back and forth about. Look up Alex Smith in Chrystler 300. This guy really is not makin sense. Get at me.

  • omg lol. answer this for me how can a team get 7 to's and get only 20 pts. I know alex smith. bears game last season lmao

  • song is really awful. vid really coo

  • hey you left out all the fuck ups he's done HE FUCKING SUCKS

  • im happy that smith is back in the game because hes way better than hill but its only a matter of time before hes benched because hes lost enough games already.

  • thak you all for commenting so MUCH!!!!!!!!! i am subbing u all!

  • @Reatardsinc song is fukkin wakk.. GO NiNERS!! 11-5

  • has anyone here forgotten about Nate Davis? I mean Alex Smith has been decent since Shaun Hill was benched but i feel an injury coming and i dont want Shaun Hill coming back in the game. I dont think Shaun Hill is athletic AT ALL. He cant throw 40 yards. Jeez i can throw farther than he can. But back to the point, Nate davis has the skills to become a starting QB in the NFL. I'd be fine if Alex Smith steps up his game, but if he doesnt, then i want Nate Davis in the game, not Shaun Hill.

  • I'm down for that

  • all I got to say, is "PATIENCE IS GREATER THAN PRIDE" and right now, the 49er fans need to hold their horses..........with patience you get a well developed, balanced and healthy team with many varieties of offense attacks. patience, it will come in time.........YOU have no idea...........and when it does.....

    YOU'LL see........hahaha, can't wait.

  • I'm with ya! Peyton Manning stated, "I see Alex being one of the best QB's in the league in the near furture."............ Wait a minute, I thought Chris Berman stated that Alex Smith basically sucks. Hmm. I guess Berman might know more about talent and the game than P. Manning "The Coach". I guess the best and definitely the smartest current QB in the league doesn't know what he's talking about....

  • We've held our horses to long the avg person lives 75 yrs so 7.5% of my life I've been waiting for the niners to do something patience.....I think not. NEW QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 37 games total if my math is correct. With injuries and 5 different offensive coordinators, coach changes like a million times. What happens after earthquakes? there are some aftershocks and then settlement. Same concept. the truth he hasnt played since 07. He is like a rising Phoenix. Trying to rise from the ashes, yet there is no patience whatsoever. he's making progress, SHIT LAY OFF.

There ARE no QBs in the near future !!! this is it.

He will develop he's smart. Patience !

  • I'm suprised you found this much good footage of him. Chris Berman said he reminds him of Rick Mirer that's not good Alex Smith Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go niners

  • Chris Berman is an ESPN analyst for sheep (the "LAY" person). That's all ANAL-ysts are good for.

  • I like that one. Man I am to the point where I HATE SPORTSCENTER. Too busy bringing BS to the table, and then you have people who do not know sports or understand the game think they know whats up. They do not think for themself, they let clowns like Tim Hasselback, Trent Dilfer, and ho ass Quadri Ismail tell you whats up

  • Here we go again wiht the ESPN references. ESPN rides Peyton Mannings and Tom Bradys balls. They do not look at the rest of the league. They do not notice other young and rising QB's in the league so see for your own eyes not Chris Bermans and let him tell you what is going on cause as far as I can tell they are wrong majority of the time.

  • Alex Smith, seems to still be learning yet another offense coordinator's ways..........then the O line is poor/weak. Their are many things that need to click right before this Alex gets going, it will take awhile. again He was put in the middle of the year...................to me, we must wait and see what he can do..... I don't see them changing QB in the future, I think that the 49ers will do ok this season and then next year it will become better. Again a very very young team. patience

  • Coudn't agree with you more CELIBERICO! Well put.

  • We,ve been waiting 4 yrs wouldn't you like to see us in the playoffs again it's almost been a decade. Other qb's who where drafted after him that have better stats it's time to let him go

  • Yes, but you don't study the history. Singletary said it yesterday "all the crap he has gone through"........we all know what has happened. There was complete disorder in the upper command of the 49ers. Its amazing the impatience around the bay area. its like you guys want playoffs, superbowl rings, etc.........well, sorry, doesn't happen like that, we wait. We wait and watch. a quick synopsis of this Alex.

    05- played 9 games.

    06- 16 games

    07-7 games

    08-0 games

    09-4 games

    5 o line coor

  • It shouldn't take 4 yrs bro why dont you think he started most of those games I know because he's not that good can you actually see him winning a sb in 5 yrs come on. I know he messed up his shoulder but why wasn't he named a starter at the beginning of the season? You tell me that man what's up are you a kid. I have a ? for ya are you even a 49ers fan? "it's like YOU GUYS want playoffs, etc" if your not a 49ers fan why do you care? tell me. Alex Smith didn't play a lot because?

  • Because your a fucking idiot and need to learn how to see talent when it's right in front of you. If you cant differentiate between a REAL QB and a "flash in the pants", you have no business "acting" like you know what you're talking about. You're probably one of those fantasy football guys who only know stat numbers, but cant possibly comprehend "Unknown Variables". You probably dont even know what that means. Just keep your mouth shut unless you have anything intelligent to say, 49er hater.

  • I agree. Smith is very talented, smart and aggressive, just needs to learn to keep control. Will happen with experience. Favre threw INT's all the time his first several years. Eli's #'s were VERY identical to Alex's their first 3 seasons. Let's not forget, MANY Niner fans HATED Steve Young at first, yet he ended up with a better QB rating and pass efficiency than Joe (with his own Super Bowl MVP & 2 NFL MVP's to boot). Niner fans expect things to happen way too fast. Be patient guys. GO ALEX!

  • @investbo What do you mean "be patient"?. You smith apologists are the fucking worst. Why do you keep giving this guy chances to prove he is a failure. He already proved it to me.

  • Orion1232- Smith apaologist? First of all, I dont apologize for anybody else. His mistakes belong to him ass-clown. Second, instead of pretending that you know something about football, learn how to play you dumb-ass! Oh yeah, "I played in high school" doesn't count. By the way, I played fullback in college. It seems like anybody who has never played follows "stats", "anal-ysts", etc. too much. At least pick up a football and play after Thxgiving you ESPN Toolbag!

  • investbo: Dude, you fucking retard. It doesn't take a genius to figure out Alex smith sucks. I quit using excuses 3 fucking years ago. I had the same patience as anyone would have. But after 5 years of failure, I have come to terms with reality. Apparently you haven't. Oh, and yes, I did play with Aaron rodgers. Albeit not football, but basketball. So I know how much the competitor he his. And alex smit sucks ass!

  • Orion1232- Exactly what I thought. You were not ever a football player. "I played basketball with Aaron Rodgers". No wonder you hate Alex, Aaron Rodgers is your boy. You wished Niners got him instead. I agree, he would have been a great pick for the Niners. We got Alex, so DEAL WITH IT! Otherwise go root for your boy Aaron and the Packers you fair-weather fan. Stick with your QB if your a real 49er fan. Oh yeah, stick with Basketball, I wont argue with you on any of that Mr. Irrelevant.

  • By the way Orion1232; Your unrelated antics and "no point" or "non-conclusions" have really just burried yourself (learn how to spell too, damn!). Everything you just replied to on your last post made absolutely no sense. Anything else you say will just make you look even more like a complete idiot if anyone else reads these posts. I would leave it alone from here dude.

  • investbo: Oh, so I am not allowed to judge a farce like Alex Smith because I never played college football? You're a fucking moron, and just made yourself look like a fool. That's your only argument. I never played college football, so can't pass judgement. Dude, it doesn't take a professional or college football player to see alex smith sucks. You're a fucking retard for even implying that.

  • investbo: Oh, great argument, idiot. "You never played football so you can't see the greatness in alex smith". Real good one. LOL.

  • HAHAHAHA! You would never talk to me that way if you had seen me in person! You're funny potty-mouth. Sensative too! How about first half against the Packers on Sunday? Niners didn't put the ball in the end-zone until ALEX AIRED IT OUT IN THE SECOND HALF. Just what I've pointed out before, O-line and OC (Jimmie Ray) suck. Predictable offensive game plan. From here on out just post whatever you want, you obviously don't know much and are a waste of time. Keep watching Alex get better! GOODBYE!

  • Absolutely correct. I have a feeling Jimmy Raye will be dismissed. Alex Smith is progressing fine, these people are going crazy and no patience, its like they want him to shit out a superbowl trophy- ring. Not going to happen, sorry. He seems to perform under pressure and under time constraint. You need consistency and good development from all areas. Not happening right now. He's good to me, I just look at him like other QB the excellence is there, just needs to break out. watch out.

  • Why wasn't he the starter at the begining of the season why didn't singletary start him..............hmmmmm think about it man patience is greater than pride give me a break. I had a disagreement witha guy about this 2 yrs AGO he said be patient Alex Smith will be better ina yr all I have to say is that I'm still right. Are you 10 yrs old or something come on

  • investbo: I don't give a shit what you look like in person. Is that supposed to be intimidating? Oh, and good point about correct spelling. NOBODY, especially you, has made any errors while typing. Lastly, you apologists have to quit using "garbage time" stats to inflate smiths horrid numbers. Both games he got 3 tds after being down by 20 points. After he threw that last int to Tenn. the other day, I hated the fact that he was allowed to get that last garbage time td during prevent defense.

  • Amen bro

  • @devdtm You can't convince these "smithbots" of alex smiths constant failure. They are delusional and fail to see reality. Every game is always, "it wasn't his fault, let's give him another chance", and every year is supposed to be smiffs "breakout year". Every time he throws and int, it's always the receivers fault. Every NON win is the defenses fault. You know, because they really control 3 and outs. Alex smith forces the defense to stay on the field the entire game.

  • Smiff that's funy as hell. I know your right these guys like him for some reason and the funny thing is he hasn't done shit so why like him so much....I don't know it's kinda sad. Are there any free agent qb's next yr that are good. Maybe we should resign trent dilfer lmao

  • @devdtm Yea, how good does Jeff Garcia look now? LOL.

  • wHAT A SEASON HUH?

  • Right on bro

  • I being a 49ers fan totally agree with you man. We've been waiting 4yrs it's time to cut the cord.

  • I agree, 1 more year, cut Barry Sims (lol most of the penalties come from him) anyway draft a good Offensive Lineman this year and we is good

  • this song is destined to fail

  • like u?

  • no, like the person who made this video with that terrible song

  • Smith is BACK. Damn he looked EXCELLENT.

    I WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY.

He looked like a damn new QB. Amazing control, poise and the passes were unbelievable in like one quarter 3 td passes? unbelievable. he almost won the game

  • Sorry Alex, I'm still leaning towards Shaun

  • Smitty baby.

  • This video was way better with Before I Forget instead of dumb ass Souldja Boy.

  • Alex Smith is like a hot ember. He can grow into a raging fire with the right tools, or die out if not given any attention

  • i think alex smith is pretty good remember we had no talent for him to work with and he was in his first 2 years so this could be his year but shaun hill is good also i dunno who i like more

  • I hate to make Alexcuses, but right now we have a Norv Turner offense once again, the deepest WR depth since 1998, and a far better o-line than last year (as long as Barry Sims is cut). -This is Alex's last chance, it's all up to him now.

  • After watching these highlights, it gives me hope knowing what he did with the little talent he had at a young age. Everything is better now.O-line, W.Rs,Defense, Special teams, coach. We have too talent on offense for him not succeed now!

  • when he avoided that seahawks sack, that was the SICKEST play ever
