  • RAPING THE REPLAY BUTTON!!!!

  • The first Miyazaki film I ever saw (and have seen the most) and still one of my all time favorites. I now own every Ghibli film that Miyazaki directed (which I believe is nine). I can't for him to finish his next one next year. =D

  • Always smile when listening to this song :)

  • damnn good <3

  • This movie is for younger kids but I think the reason why older people still like this movie is because it's something they can relate their childhood too. I watch this movie still because I loved it as a little kid and I love the animation in the movie and the music. I just wish all the music in the movies now a-days could help the person watching the movie to get more emotional depth from it.

  • remember watching all of the old studio ghibli movies wen i was young god i still remember all of the movies i could even write them now without even trying studio ghibli is one fucking good studio

  • my favorite studio gibli film :3

  • I just LOVE the feature of the bassoon and oboe in this piece! As soon as I hit this scene in the movie, I had to pause and search for this piece! It's a shame Kirsten Dunst has to laugh and talk through it >/

  • Joe Hisaishi is genius!!

  • The thing that save all this movies is the music. The set are very interesting, but I think that in fact nothing relevant goings on. Anyway, the animation is simply splendid.

  • The last time I saw this movie, I saw the starting criying, because my grandfather had die the last month and I had been remembered him. I fininished the movie with a smile and so relaxed. Studio Ghlibi's movies are magic for me.

  • The soundtrack makes the movie even more magical. My favorite movie as a child.

  • I think that when Kiki's Delivery Service is taken for what it is, a children's coming-of-age story with a sweet, magical twist, it should be seen as a beautiful film. It does exactly what it sets out to do and does it pretty perfectly. No, it can't compare to Spirited Away or Nausicaa or even Howl's Moving Castle and other Ghibli films of that caliber, but it isn't supposed to. At any rate, it was the very first Ghibli film I ever saw, and I love it dearly. It's positively beautiful <3

  • I remember this video from when i was really little... what a nice memory.

  • I will dress as her for the next halloween :D

  • I love Kiki's Delivery Service. <3 Very happy to purchase this movie. :D

  • Haha, aww. I'm not really into anime but I grew up on Miyazaki's movies. This brings back so many memories. :)

  • I love this soundtrack :3

  • i want to fly with the bird

  • Oh man, this movie is what got me hooked on anime (mostly Miyazaki and Isao Takahata) and orchestra music. :) I remember when I was a little kid and I asked my dad to get me the movie Matilda from the rental store, and I said "It has a picture of a girl in a black dress with a red ribbon in her hair on the front". He ended up accidentally getting this movie instead, but I'm so glad he did! :D It's such a wonderful movie!

  • My English book had an interview of Hayao Miyazaki and this picture in it. I totally freaked out and went all nerdy about Miyazakis work. People around me propably though that i was kinda weird

  • i really liked this movie :D it captured a regular (but witch) preteen girl growing up :) it's down to earth and really sweet. with the music and art it's like, holy crap, a dream.

  • LaTale Lovers <3

  • theres so much covers for this song and there all beautiful but it's not complete without Joe Hisaishi

  • great song

  • The lullaby of my future children

  • This inspired me to make a flying broom...

    In my dreams

  • Movie is surprisingly good. It is not as serious as Laputa or Princess Mononoke and it also lacks kind of hidden meaning like My Neighbour Totoro but it still manages to be amazing. Such a genuinely nice, cute and fun movie

  • Am I the only one that starts beatboxing to this tune...?

  • All studio ghibli films are all beautiful. They are great for both kids, teens, and adults.

  • @fastmuffins You can say THAT again!! GHIBLI ROCKS!

  • Do you have any flute tab for this song? at least the opening.

    thank you

  • @nilbreth what's a flute tab?

  • @froggiewoggie84 No such thing, flute doesn't use tabs.

  • @froggiewoggie84 i think it was an oboe... i can be wrong though

  • @froggiewoggie84 The music sheet.

  • The only thing about this movie that i was horribly disappointed about was the fact that the city this takes place in doesnt exist....CURSE YOU REAL WORLD!!!

  • @qwerty1329408 I think some of it was based on Halifax, Nova Scotia....

  • @TheSupremelyEvilOne actually the visual inspiration of the movie was a town called Visby in Sweden. obviously the town in the movie is a lot bigger and an island. but Visby is built on a hill with a clock tower in the center just like Coriko (or Koriko)

  • @TheSupremelyEvilOne the good news here though is that after several hours of searching thousands of miles of coast line in Europe, i finally found a town on the sea with a big clock tower in the center that resembles Coriko more than Visby Sweden. Check out either Piran or Izola, Slovenia. Izola has more resemblance.

  • i always get this song stuck in my head^^ love this movie^^

  • Me too!! it was one of the first anime movies i ever whatch :D

  • I wish I could watch this movie. My flute teacher asked me to play this song and I thought that it was really good. And she says that the movie is great (as well as cute) too. :)

  • DSHKGDSHKGSGS

Listening to it and randomly I hear Argent's theme in tales of pirates!!

    1:25 !

  • This movie was so awesome that I named my cat Jiji XD

  • Jiji looks so wierd on the picture.. nice music!!

  • I'm actually in love with the concept of this movie - the movie itself. It's a simple storyline, but it doesn't at all short of fascinating. How can people not like Kiki? Oh well. I love it.Thank you for posting.

  • Nujabes made a song using this piece. <3

  • it brings joyos tears to my eyes

  • These movies are so great that we still search them even though it came out like 10 years ago or something xD ;)

  • I EFFIN LOVE GIGI!

  • I'm going to name my kid Kiki.. :'D LOL

  • I LOVE ALL OF HAYAO MIYAZAKIS FIMLS AND MUSIC :DDD thx for uploading this! ^^

  • I wish I can fly with a broomstick around the ocean, XD

  • What's so bad about this movie??? I think it's great just like the other Ghibli movies! :)

  • It's like a river of nostalgia has washed my heart away

  • I remember watching this movie with my dad when i was little ^_^ He loved it and he doesnt even like anime.

  • This was my first, and always will be my favorite Studio Ghibli production. It's underrated, unfortunately, and I can somewhat see how, but nonetheless this movie has the most beautiful soundtrack, impressive emotion from the characters, and phenomenal art to boot. :) <3

  • They used to show this on cartoon network, i wished they would show more studio ghibli films.

  • @crazy4wilay did u remember that timw they showed castel in the sky, nautica, princess mononoke, and howls moving castle? that was the best

  • One asshole will burn in hell!

  • I can't truly explain why, but this is my favorite Studio Ghibli film.

  • soundtrack is ridiculously good for this movie. I had it stuck in my head for two weeks afterwards. However, no offense, but its not the greatest movie out there.

  • @kingcole55 Everyone is entitled to their opinions! I personally love the movie as well a s the soundtrack :)

  • @kingcole55 i agree. i love the soundtrack, but i like other movies better.

  • I just watched this. I fell in love & I'm still in love.

  • One of the MOST under-rated Ghilbi movies EVER! I don't know how many times I've watched this movie but honestly, it has to be over a hundred at least! Love it to death!

  • I watched it more or less twenty-five or thirty times, then I stopped before memories spoiled vision.

I'd love to watch it again, feel necessary in these days,

but I'm trying to forget it the more I can

in order to look and be amazed like the first time

  • Ah, this music just creates the illusion of the perfect town. Miyazaki's towns seem to blend an aesthetic of Japanese, European and Mediterranean cities into one beautifully crafted make believe locale. If only they existed...

  • @Shagwaro actually, he was reminded by sweden, and i can say it's southern part of Sweden.

    it's the clocktower ;)

  • @Shagwaro

This town in particular, Koriko, has nothing Japanese in it,

it's more a Scandinavian town than anything else,

although I recognize Southern Tyrol houses here and there.

If it can make you happy, I'll tell you I found more or less

the Swedish town which gives many elements, ie the white walls, to the movie one:

    it's Visby on Gotland island.

Miyazaki visited it in 1969 when he tried to make a Pippi Longstockings

cartoon: he and his staff always visit places before drawing and shooting

  • One of the movies, i watch every two years and one of the most underrated Ghibli-Movies and great experience of the chance from kid to adult.

  • @leon5080 I know, this is probably my favorite ghibli movie

  • the movie that got meinto anime. i have seen 250+ movies and to this day its my fav. it brings back great memories

  • If you are interested in this type of music then check out Joe Hisaishi he was the one that composed this song and all of the studio Ghibli soundtracks. He is a Genius!!!!

  • just watched it yesterday! :D

  • "This is the kind of place i've always imagined!"

  • It's always weird to think when I first saw this movie I was younger than Kiki.

  • Sarcasmcat is best cat.

  • I love this movie. But does any one hear That the back beat of the song is made by a synthesizer

  • "With lots of hustling and bustling, yes..."

  • Does this remind anyone else of Windwaker?

  • @JAnthonyTube yeah, it really reminds me of Wind Waker too.

  • @emilwestin Wind Waker. <333

  • This stuff makes my eyes watery...

  • @ycvlee Mine too man.... WOAH. THERE IS TIMPANI IN THE ENGLISH VERSION. Sorry.. I was not very far when I started making the comment. Every time I hear this song, my skin tingles with excitement, and there is another song that sounds very similar to this and I always freak out thinking someone is watching this movie without me when I hear it.

  • @ycvlee
