As someone who greatly admired Princess Diana I must say this is hilarious, I am surprised at how many do not understand that in no way is this disrespectful of Diana, but rather a parody of Peoples' shallowness when it comes to what a person looks like. Oh, I almost forgot to mention I also admired the nun Mother Theresa.
This sick entity, trying its best to be a 60's-flower-power-pot-and-pill-throw-your-bra-and-knickers-away-anarchist, has NO idea! - It's just so old hat, cold gravy and damp cookie, it's hard to believe!! !t was so obviously desperately envious of Diana Princess of Wales in every single respect! Absolutely NOTHING from this sour excuse for a singer will ever take away from this Princess; no matter how much sugar this entity heaps over its own foul excrement, the stench comes through STRONG !!!!
princess diana is number one in the world she is fashion icon of the time she is very popular all over the world and i can,t not get enough of her i love you very much princess of wales thanks of video good job
This is the story of a pathetic weak man, who enjoyed an experienced womans bedroom skills and this vile poisonous woman had the ability to manipulate the weak man. Charles also obviously didn't think camilla as wifely material in the seventies. IF he did he wouldn't have used her like a common prostitute at Broadlands that Uncle Mountbatten graciously supplied for them for trysts. Charles apparently listened to and agreed with Mountbatten's assessment of Camilla as only prostitute material.
Thanks, katieoler, for your intelligent comment. The song is more a criticism of us, not these women, for what we are drawn to is beauty. If it's not cool or beautiful or exciting, we're not that interested. To be lovely and sometimes selfless is the perfect combination. Diana had it. Mother Teresa: selfless, but not a fashion plate. Could've used a makeover. At least a little moisturizer.
OMG!! YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!! YOU SHOULD BE BARRED BABE!! YOU ARE SOOOO VERY UNFAIR!! YOU OBVIOUSLY NEVER WALKED IN AN OUNCE OF FAME!!! I can't believe I heard this!!! Take it somewhere else babe because SHE was obviously more than you!!!! WOW! TAKE A HIKE BABE..YOU SUCK WITH THIS!!!
well the woman in the gown had more balls . she used the media as much as they exploited her . the woman had a shit life and was murdered by the royals . momma T well she was a saint and did her thing as a selfless act as a religious figure ,,, cruel song . diana well she what she knew she could do and the the photographs the press took woke the world to what was going on .. 2 saint 2 diferent ways of expoliting the media .. and man was she pretty di ove her lots and love momma t 2
This is so disrespectful. Princess Diana did so much good while she was here. For you to think that she doesn't deserve to be comemerated for it just because she was beautiful, and had luxuries is rediculous ! She was beautiful on the inside and out .
Within the community of missionaries Teresa was held in the highest esteem possible. But in the world informed by slick four-colour glossy fan magazines and a scan of the TV headlines, silk scarves and diamonds are going to always catch more eyes. The saintliness of one does not take away from the other, but how often do we recognise the good work of the average Jane or Joe doing good works?
I agree that it is a touching bit of irony beautifully sung. We are all capable of being angels in one form or another. Robin's point is how we recognise these acts.
Re-reading my message makes me see that I was selling Lady Di. short, I think she was a v. good person and did far more than what the vast majority of people in the world have and will ever do, I just can't understand how you can put her at a level of importance even slightly close to Mother Teresa and how little attention was given to her death or the 10th anniversary of said death.
v. nicely put ginaromero even thoughI do not believe in god almost at all (I'm as close to an atheist as it is possible to see, I'm not a believer but I simply cannot entirely rule it out.
I agree! But there are thousands of selfless people around the world doing great works anonymously. They're angels trying to ease suffering, and are not celebrated like Diana. It's the comedian's job to examine things from all sides, pointing out the truth behind the hype. The truth is, beauty and glamor combined with good works is what we notice and praise. Diana did good things, with the added bonus that she was fun to watch. As a comic, I have to be truthful about that!
Thank you. I really appreciate your taking the time to tell me your thoughts. You made my day! I have seven other songs mastered (I've recorded 14). I could send you an MP3 of some of them, if you'd like. They're funny and satirical as well. I'm going to make videos of some of them eventually. Thank you again, Russell.
That was incredible, well done. Diana wasn't a bad person at all but she was not as good as everyone makes out, at least when compared to someone like Teresa of Calcutta who's 10th anniversary was not remembered anywhere near as much as it should have been. Few people more deserving of our respect have ever lived, Martin Luthor King I suppose is, but she's still v. much up there.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I believe that if Diana wasn't so beautiful, people wouldn't have cared what she did. Mother Teresa lived her charity. Diana did it when it was convenient. Mother Teresa was homely and unglamorous. It's hard for people to identify with that. But that's the way of the world. It really says more about us, rather than Diana, that she was so revered. Thanks again!
You should read up on Diana and her charity work and her troubled personal life. She did not only do charity work when it was convenient- thats for sure.
Dear RnBfan: You're right! Diana was a good person and a great mother. She was sweet and smart, and had a great sense of humor. She could've wasted her life bemoaning her fate and partying, but she chose to help others. I like that she defied the snobbery and stoicism of the Royal family. She had beauty and style, and did wonderful things. We all miss her. Thanks for commenting!

Great indictment of shallowness and the heroes we choose to worship -- or rather our reasons for choosing them.
