I've seen fake and I've seen real, and somehow by God's grace, I seem to have been able to discern between then pretty quickly and reliably. But, then other times I've had to reserve judgment. I could smell the stench of Robt. Tilton and Peter Popoff a mile away. With this situation, I reserve judgment but tend to favor it being true since my younger brother had a similar experience, and I've had enough experience with prayer this kid's story seems plausible to me. I still reserve judgment.
@danieljdick I know well it may seem utterly idiotic for a person to believe in anything supernatural in light of all the stupid charlatans taking advantage of gullible people to make a buck and in light of irrational superstitions people hold to. When you experience miracles first hand or when you experience a relationship with God, it may shake you up to the point where you analyze the situation really hard to find out if there is another explanation only to realize it's real.
@danieljdick When you pray for a friend who is dying of cancer and she's soon cancer free, that's different from when you see a bunch of idiots faking their illnesses in wheelchairs at a Peter Popoff crusade. When the doctors tell you your brother won't live, you pray and he lives, that's not the work of a charlatan. When you find a prayer team praying for the same thing you prayed for or the pastor preaching on the same verse or when a drought stops, that's not Popoff with an earpiece.
This simply insults my intelligence. A lame attempt by Christians to get more believers. This was a holy story alright....full of more holes than swiss cheese.
very nice and I like the fact that the parents put the scriptures in the book to compare to the boys experience, thats our true source. Anything else can be false

Let's see -- the son of a Christian family has a vision of Jesus and angels. No surprise there.

I posted this clip so I could take it apart on my blog. I don't agree with the content, and doubt it's truth.
