  • Just because you get down on your knees and pray, does not mean the Mormons are a true religion. Alot of it is pure emotion. And that's what people get sucked in by, the emotional side of it. The Mormons ignore the actual scriptures which is where we are to get 'revelation' from, to learn the will of God to know what to pray about!. Not just to read this BOM and pray on it and some miraculous feeling will tell you it's true. The Devil comes as an angel of light too you know!

  • Wait a fucking second! Since their child died b4 they converted to mormon would mean she would be in hell? Why am I even asking this when the whole idea is cheesy.

  • @matthewnealwright no kidding man, idk why people are so blind

  • Why do you all say this church is true without facts?

  • @perryap1 What church has facts to 100% backup everything? None.

  • Rugby players -- especially Lagi Setu in 2010 and Will Hopoate this past month -- leaving the National Rugby League to serve full-time missions have grabbed headlines, including this one in Mormon Times.

"I've told the boys that this is not something that I'm forced to do or that I have to do, this is something that I want to do," Hopoate told The Warrnambool Standard.

  • Last weekend, Hopate was picked for the New South Wales Blues for the State of Origin match-up with Queensland -- one of the premier rugby events in Australia. (He was at church when the phone call came, according to the Herald Sun.) When asked if this changes his mind about a mission, he said that a mission "is locked in now," reported the Australian.

  • if only the church was true... if only it was as easy as the things in this video...

god. I use to think it was all so simple..

  • also exactly what satan wud want u to think that u can become a god then rule over a planet and have sex with women

  • This video once again proving that ignorance and fear are the basis for all religions.

  • As a doctoral candidate at Boston University, Holbrook studies religion and food. Her dissertation examines how the food practices of "outsider" religious groups, Mormons and the Nation of Islam, represent dynamic interactions with mainstream America.

Holbrook is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School. She serves as the Mormon Studies Fellow at the University of Utah Tanner Humanities Center.

  • Cultures seem to have their own distinct features regarding what is eaten and the way nourishment is consumed. Mormons in the West have their own particular food ways, as well. Utah isn't known as the Jell-O capital of the world without good reason. And don't forget the popular funeral potatoes. Meal time is family time and eating together strengthens family ties.

  • Kate Holbrook says dining tables are revealing. Mormon leaders, past and present, want meals to convey core Mormon values, such as provident living, Holbrook says.

  • @CenturianRule "YOU are really one of the craziest people I've EVER witnessed"

now you WITNESSED me? What are you harrison Ford? BIZARRE

  • He warned about the subtle deterioration of religion's once foundational place in society. An accumulation of "adverse" court decisions along with worsening social attitudes toward religion have produced gradual erosions that are "more worrying" than obvious, abrupt changes.

  • Michael K. Young, president of the University of Utah and former chairman of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, concentrated his remarks on the state of religious freedom in the United States, calling it a "bellwether" for the rest of the world. The extent of religious freedom erosion in the United States, he argued, significantly impacts the development of this issue in other countries

  • What kind of God would let that happen? There is no reasoning behind it.

  • You will know the truth by the Holy Ghost, it never lies instead it testifies of truths. You will know the truth depending on the level of your faith in Jesus Christ. I have studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon and it is indeed Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It supports teachings in the Bible and they both go hand in hand testifying to the world that Jesus is indeed our Savior and Redeemer. I hope you find the truth my friend! ^^, God bless you and your family. <3

  • @chocolate271208 What the fudge does any of that crap actually mean? The only thing I got from it is that you have no idea what truth is.

Here's my working definition Truth: The circumstance where things actually are, in reality, the way they are believed to be.

Now here are some things that are true. The character Jesus was a Jew. His Mum & Dad also Jews. he lived a Jew & he died a Jew. He openly professed to be the fulfillment of the Jewish faith... yet you are not a Jew.

  • This beautiful truth was revealed to Adam down to the ancient chief Apostle Peter. After a period of apostasy, Peter returned with James and John to restore the keys of the priesthood (The power and authority of God given to men to act in His name.) to Joseph Smith so truth would shine once more. Please attend our church services, have a discussion with our missionaries, visit our temples, study the Book of Mormon and take the challenge to know if these things I am talking about are true. cont

  • I know that the teachings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are inspired by God. I just lost my first child and the Atonement of Jesus Christ and my temple marriage give me all the strength I need to move on. If I follow Jesus Christ by keeping my baptismal and temple covenants with Him, I know I will be with my child again and forever for I am married and sealed with my husband and offspring for ALL TIME AND ALL ETERNITY not only till death do we part. (continue...)

  • What

    You felt?

    You prayed

feeling of worm love, entire body?

You have to continue to listen.

Sorry 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

    (17.10–11)

God does not work like that

  • These are ACTORS. This did not happen. And they're not very good actors, at that.

  • @Trillidotia is absolutely right, they are actors, I know one of them personally, but that does not negate the truthfulness of the message that is being represented. It is based on true stories and a true belief that we are all eternal beings with plans to live with Christ & the Father in the eternal realms on high forever, & ever. I am Mormon; I am a Christian.

  • @batterdown Actors?? This is deception. It's despicable. They speak as if they have experienced the loss of a child. The LDS church is a lying cult and simply looking to recruit for the cult with no reagard for any honesty about any aspect of itself.

Families are quite capable of being together without a cult interfering with and splitting them up and dividing them here on earth over an adulterous lying cult leader called Joseph Smith.

  • @ElderJoseph is offended by the approach of the church using this medium. My apologies to him. The viewer here that is seeking truth will feel the sincerity of the message. As far as the cult accusations...well.. you're not dumb. You can rely on your own good judgment to determine what is and isn't. As for myself, I have been LDS for about 36 years now. I am more at peace when I am following Christ's teachings more closely, & I believe JSmith to be a true Prophet, but don't take my word.

  • @batterdown This approach using Actors as if they had experienced the death of a child is unethical and deceptive. The Mormon church standards reminds me of another Hideous organisation that recruits for its cult with deceptive means. The Watchtower Society of Jehovahs Witnesses.

You can believe Joseph Smith if you like and be gullible hand over wives and children for sex/marriage to such types. However you are not going to be allowed to roam free promoting hisTripe and deception.

  • @batterdown mormons believe they will be gods of their own planet which would mean separation from One and only creator God that's not eternally being with Him and if each of us will be gods, our families would be never be together again

  • These are two of the worst actors I've seen in a very long time. Can't the Mormons afford to pay professionals?

  • "We don't necessarily try to monitor each other or judge. We all just prefer living clean lives and don't drink or anything," said drummer Elaine Bradley. "It's all about just having a good time performing. That's our drug-- the performances. You won't see us in IV tearing it up (laughs)."

A sober rock group may seem paradoxical, but Neon Trees is living proof that substance abuse isn't necessary to induce onstage insanity. .

  • .All of the members of the band are Mormon, and while religion is never overtly addressed in their music, it does have a significant impact on their lifestyles and the way they carry themselves as a band by helping them to stay clear-headed and keep things professional.

  • Teachings and Commentaries on the Old Testament includes: * An overview of the major themes and doctrine contained in the Old Testament and the Pearl of Great Price * A portrait of the Savior as He is referenced throughout the books of the Old Testament

  • The Old Testament is the foundation of the Holy Scriptures. Though

our personal scriptural study is incomplete without the knowledge

provided by this canonized book, studying and understanding the Old

Testament can often be difficult. Now with the help of Ed J. Pinegar

and Richard J. Allen, you'll look forward to Old Testament study as

you gain a deeper understanding of the earliest of our standard

  • Most exciting of all, according to Cross - this year's festival will be the kick-off for a short east-coast tour for the 360-member Mormon Tabernacle Choir, .

  • Gene Platt, a former bishop of Newberg's 2nd ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said that as an institution the Mormon church values

  • He said God chose two soldiers, Mormon and Moroni, to prepare centuries of records now contained in the Book of Mormon.

  • He also taught that seeking virtue helps people become like the Savior. “We sense the Savior’s care when his Spirit is with us,” Dayley said. “By searching diligently in the light of Christ and holding to every good thing [we] are blessed to sense the Savior’s care.”

  • P.S. What is your Dream? Eternal Roles and Responsibilities

  • Latter-day Saint temples differ from the Church’s meetinghouses or chapels where members meet for Sunday worship services. Temples are considered “houses of the Lord” where Christ's teachings are reaffirmed through marriage, baptism and other ordinances that unite families for eternity. In the temple, Church members learn more about the purpose of life and strengthen their commitment to serve Jesus Christ and those around them.

  • Stake presidents from the surrounding temple district shared a packed multi-purpose theater with leaders of local government, foreign service representatives and a tapestry of religious leadership from faiths such as Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Catholicism and Baptist congregations. An abundance of visiting non-LDS guests were also invited, hosted by full-time missionaries from the California Los Angeles Mission.

  • In a more recent project, they sewed school bags for children in orphanages and schools throughout Africa that were filled with notebooks, pencils, erasers, a ruler and other needed school supplies.

This year, the society is assembling hygiene kits that include combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and hand towels that will be sent to Haiti and other areas.

  • Children could go fishing for paper fish in a pond and answer questions about how to choose the right, take some time to color CTR shields, or make a CTR bracelet.

  • Attendees at the Philadelphia Interfaith Children's Festival were invited to experience family home evening firsthand with local members. There was an informational video on families, handouts with guidelines for holding family home evening, and demonstrations of several family activities focused on choosing the right.

  • You don't need to believe in the bullshit of Mormonism in order to believe you'll see your family again in an unprovable afterlife. Save your money and join a church that won't suck 10 percent of your gross income.

  • @GohModley have I warned you before about PROFANITY?

  • @omiolo have I warned you before about BAD APOLOGETICS?

  • @omiolo lol you being one who is guilty of bearing false witness, mockery, pride, persecution and so much more, i think profanity is the LAST thing you should be concerned with. who stands with the greater sin? i think we all know the answer to this one...

Alma 5:28 "Behold, are ye stripped of pride? I say unto you, if ye are not ye are not prepared to meet God. Behold ye must prepare quickly; for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand, and such an one hath not eternal life."

  • @SvenTveskegg still waiting for your reply on the Matthew 24 video.

  • @omiolo "still waiting for your reply on the Matthew 24 video."

still waiting for a question on the "Matthew 24 video". in order to give a response i need to have a question.

furthermore, i'm sure afterward i'll get a reply on all my questions you have ignored, right? lol

  • @SvenTveskegg "still waiting for a question"

NOT from me, from the last person that addressed you. The one likes to address FILTH towards you. Or are you going to swallow that camel? And then call OTHERS hypocrites? BAHAHAHA

  • Cue the manipulative music and.........action!

  • The creation of the Czechoslovakia Mission followed that same year, with missionaries in the country for 10 years until having to leave at the advent of World War II. Missionaries resumed their work briefly beginning in 1946, adding new members to those war survivors who stayed put on their native soil.

Located near many sorority and fraternity houses, students say the institute is their social club.

Margaret Preston, an engineering management major, said the institute really feels like home. "It is a place to make friends and spend my time away from campus," she said.

  • Mormon handcart pioneers participated in a movement to Salt Lake City from 1856 to 1860. They used handcarts, which were less expensive than covered wagons, to transport their goods.

  • ST. GEORGE - Elder Bruce C. Hafen, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will serve as the new president of the St. George LDS Temple beginning in November.

  • Elder Packer said the hope now is that many more people will start doing family history work. "As I said, a lot of people doing a little are far better than a few doing a lot."

  • Speaking to the entire Church membership in October 2009, Church President Thomas S. Monson said, We continue to build temples. We desire that as many members as possible have an opportunity to attend the temple without having to travel inordinate distances. Worldwide, 83 percent of our members live within 200 miles (320 km) of a temple. That percentage will continue to increase as we construct new temples around the world.

  • He said he was impressed with the Mormons' organizational skills and commitment.

  • Church leaders recently presented him their operational plans for how to coordinate their jobs.

"I consider this the start of spring," the mayor said. "It is a terrific opportunity to infuse pride in our city by allowing these volunteers who are willing to assist us during these challenging economic times. The amount of work expected to be done also gives city taxpayers a break by freeing up other city employees to do more tasks they otherwise would not be able to get to," he said.

  • Leaving in July 1846, the Mormon Battalion marched some 2,000 miles in what would become one of the longest religious marches in U.S. history. Along the way, the battalion carved out a vital road for wagons through the American Southwest. After arriving in California six months later, the battalion assisted with construction projects that helped build up the San Diego community.

  • Over the past twenty-one years, editor Royal Skousen has pored over

Joseph Smith's original manuscripts and identified more than 2.000

textual errors in the 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon. Although

most of these discrepancies stem from inadvertent errors in copying

and typesetting the text, the Yale edition contains about 600

corrections that have never appeared in any standard edition of the

    Book of Mormon

  • The official Church website shows a painting in which one of Joseph's siblings is clearly shown asleep during Moroni's visit. Page 54 of the August 2009 Ensign displays a painting "He called me by name," by Liz Lemon Swindle. This painting shows Joseph sitting up in his bed listening to Moroni, with three of his siblings asleep alongside him.

  • @omiolo: whats your point?

  • @ProudToBeAMormon about what?

  • @omiolo about all the coments...

  • @ProudToBeAMormon you don't like positive information about Mormon Christians?

  • @omiolo of course i love all the positive comments-but nevermind

  • @ProudToBeAMormon "but nevermind"

    you brought it up.....

I was simply trying to get you to focus on the positive. your name is positive, I think you should focus on such too.

  • "A big part of our message is it's a great time to be a woman," Permann said. "It's hard to be a woman and it's hard to be a mom, but it's also so rewarding and so satisfying and so fun. ... We want women to feel uplifted and feel refreshed and renewed and encouraged."

  • And my greatest fear is that you will not believe in other chances, that you will not understand repentance, that on some days you will not believe in any future at all.

  • What is out in left field?' He went far afield from the Apocrypha and the 'canonized' or body of known and accepted Pseudepigrapha, finding his own documents -- Ebla, DSS, Nag Hammadi -- and unlocking them as they appeared on the scene with the key of language and myth-gathering, but always avoiding 'left field.'

  • "Nibley teaches us that the key to benefiting from searching tradition and myths is starting from a solid base of truth. But ranging far afield and looking is the very essence of the search of a true observer. The question always is, 'what matches? What corresponds?

  • "Imagine, Hugh had the ability to look through the lenses of 13-plus languages. How broad was his horizon? How able was he to find connections others may miss or never even know exist?" Madsen asked.

Along with languages, Nibley looked at sources beyond the Bible to get a better understanding of what was written in the scriptures.

  • Galatians 1;8

    Matthew 22:24-34

  • Galatians 1:6

shows that the pagan trinitiarian beliefs are false!

  • ecclesiastes chapter 9 vs 5 and 10. please read this and see what the bible says about life after death. the bible as we have it now is made of 66 smaller books collected together and written LONG before the book of mormon which comes along in 1830 and disagrees with this and MANY other bible teachings.

  • I love this church soooo much. I really wish everyone could open there eyes and see the happiness this church can bring. The true church.

  • I can't believe I found this! I saw this video when I was an investigator of the Church 14 years ago! i was baptised in 1995 and it was the best decision I have ever made. Thanks for posting!!

  • e love President Thomas S. Monson, the Lords prophet. I will forever remember his kindness as he extended my call last April. At the conclusion of our interview, he opened his arms to embrace me. President Monson is a tall man. As he wrapped his long arms around me and pulled me close, I felt like a little boy being held in the protective arms of a loving father.

  • My brothers and sisters, it has been six months since my call to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. To now serve with men who have long been my examples and teachers remains a very humbling experience. I deeply appreciate your prayers and sustaining vote. For me, this has been a time of fervent prayer, of earnestly seeking the acceptance of the Lord. I have felt His love in sacred and unforgettable ways. I testify that He lives and that this is His holy work.

  • I know this church is true. I look at it, and there is just no way it isn't. I hope to see you all in the next life brothers and sisters. Because that's what you are. My brothers and sisters. I love you all, no matter what you say or do. I am very saddened by those who say hurtful things to others. Maybe someday things will be better.

  • @ReadingRaven019 yes and who finds it hard to debate such truths as golden plates and magic rocks and magic underwear, and lost tribes of israel being native americans

  • @ReadingRaven019 ur right how is this church not true of course black people r really just people who agreed with satan. of course polygamy is correct and dont forget nothin better than that magical underwear!

  • @joshlovsbball you sir have no idea what you are talking about and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't talk about my church that way.

  • @ReadingRaven019 talking about ur church that way i was just stating ur beliefs im sorry if ur offended by ur beliefs

  • you are a fool i feel sorry for you.....PROVE to me how it is true???and what makes the mormon believe right and all other religions wrong?????you are brainwashed my friend

  • Proof? Faith is one of the trials you have to go through on earth. God could just come down and tell the world follow him. But, that would be to easy. Faith is knowing, once you researched the Book of Mormon and really read it, or just a little bit then you might understand.

  • I dont understand why people spend their time talking crap about other religions. If you dont agree ok thats your opinion, but dont sit here and knock on what we KNOW is TRUE.

  • i bet you havent even researched your on religions history??if you actuly did you would know the truth it is fake, but you canot ask questions because you are in a CULT!!!!!and where is joseph smith in the bible??!!!oh yes how silly of me he was at the last supper with jesus,,and jesus told him to start the cult of morman.....please come on.....last question what makes you think your religion is the right one....because joseph smit says so.........wake up research ask questions,

  • you are brainwashed by one sick cult MORMANS.....i read the other day that a black man can only get into heaven if he is a slave in the morman believe!!!!!!im white but i think you are sick fucks, your religion was made up by some mentaly ill man [joseph smith] to make a few bucks.....your whole reigion dousent add up because it is FAKE.......

  • A second ACLU lawsuit — challenging that the deal took away constitutional guarantees of free expression and was too favorable for the LDS Church — was subsequently dismissed.

Ironically, city leaders proposed nearly five decades ago to deed — at no cost — the same one-block section of property to the LDS Church.

  • In another conference activity, participants from all over the world worked together as a huge gymnasium turned into a sea of yellow "Helping Hands" shirts and young people filled what became a truckload of boxes — boxes destined to feed hungry mouths and to provide school supplies to needy students for the upcoming school year.

  • President Stevenson and his wife, Sister Lesa Jean Stevenson, shared the podium on the second day of the conference and emphasized the importance of marriage — not marriage "sometime in the future," but marriage as a priority worthy of immediate attention.

  • The wages of sin is death. If sin had not been introduced into this world there would be no death.

I am concerned that you believe the Garden of Gathsemane is where Jesus paid for sin. Wrong place, no payment for sin and believing this deminishes the Lords true sacrifice on the cross.

Joseph Smith invented a different Jesus who is not infinite and a sacrifice that will not save anyone. WAKE UP!

  • "The wages of sin is death"

NO, all you have to do is say you believe, do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good and ATTACK Mormons and you are guaranteed the free gift of EVANGELICAL salvation.....

  • I thought you were Lutheran in a previous life. Now you belong to a church that discounts the Bible as being corrupt. Are you saying that Christians are void of works? No surprise, JSmith has taught you well.

Why not admit you worship a man that became a god. Admit that you don't believe in the Biblical Christ.

Christianity defines God as one, is infinite, became human and revealed the great mystery that was hidden from the beginning, "salvation".

  • NO, the Bible is NOT corrupt, it is your types that DISTORT it that is corrupt.

  • The members cleared rubbish lying alongside the roads and trenches and the long grass besides the roads was slashed. The garbage collected was over 100 sacks.

  • These stories and manifestation of good works are for the indoctrinated blind.

I have yet to see any mormon befriend and accept a wayward sinner into a ward meeting who smokes, drinks or dresses like a crack whore. Jesus sought after these people. Jesus condemned the worthy, self righteous and pridefull people.

Lest I forget. Missionaries enter prisons to give mormon forgiveness only if the inmates wait for a period and be baptized mormon. The Lords sacrifice is not sufficient in mormonism.

  • "This time, we were approached by the local council heads to help in this cleaning exercise and we welcomed the idea. We provided spades, hoes and slashing equipment. This is a good initiative which contributes to obulungi bwensi and we will always support such activities if called upon.

Moreover it is an area near our office, so our staff can work in a clean environment," Ms Nyamahunge says.

  • "I have a good friend of mine who said, 'I took a class from your dad when I was in college.' One semester (my friend) got mono and missed a bunch of time. And he said, 'Your dad was the only teacher that called me on the phone and asked how I was doing and who brought me my coursework.'

  • "He never ever wanted anything in his life to be about him," Matthew's son, Robert D. Matthews said. "Most of the things that he has done in his life I have learned about from other people."

  • shit actors

  • Thank you soooo much for posting this video. I love this movie and it reminds me of what life is all about.

  • Comment removed

  • Three little letters: DNA. Native Americans are NOT a lost tribe of Israel. If that much is proven, and the book of mormon is the exact word of God, then I guess your entire book is full of shit. You guys do have really fun sock hops and ice cream socials though. I usually fuck a nice blond girl in the ass at the end of them, to preserve her virginity of course :)

  • "Native Americans are NOT a lost tribe of Israel"

    How do you know that?

are you saying you have the DNA of the lost tribes of Israel?

    you have NO credibility.

    Learn to think for yourself!

  • wtf is this

  • Michael McLean writes such beautiful music!! :)

  • ...

  • If you confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, then you too can be saved. I too have a child that is in heaven and know that I will see them again, not because of what I can do or have done but because Jesus loved me enough to take my sins upon Him when He was crucified

  • He is also the way to the Father (God). No man comes to the Father unless by me. Jesus is the sacrifice for all mankind and He was the provision that God made for us. He poured out His wrath upon Christ who died for us and rose from the dead to give us life everlasting. That is the truth according to the Scriptures.

We should not take away from that or add to it.

  • They are supposed to be Christian and yet do not follow Christ the author of the faith. Yes you can see your family in heaven, but not from religious practices. Faith in Him and Him alone is what salvation is and is the only means to get into heaven. I assure you that the Lord provides for children who die. A sparrow that falls to the ground He knows when it occurs. He takes care of His children and those who know Him. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life.

  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints do not understand what the BIBLE says...

  • There is a slight problem with their understanding: IN the book of Matthew

Jesus Himself said concerning the ressurection and in the case of marriage:

22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven?

    for they all had her.

22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the

scriptures, nor the power of God.

22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in

marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

  • to all the haters, I'll give you an advice...don't waste your time and energy hating a religion, it's stupid. This church is growing a lot around the world and there's nothing you can do about it. So you better have a good life and stop worrying about the mormons.

  • i agree. if you look around, mormons rarely just rag on other religions. but other religions are so mezmerized by mormons and making them seem bad. if its not a true religion, so what? its not affecting you. its there choice, and its what makes them happy and comforted. what have we done wrong but believe in something?

  • good point, but the mormon faith is a false one regardless

  • I can't believe people actually BUY into this shit.

  • Round three, so are these laws and ordinaces that Agent Smith brought along from freemasonry? or maby The Occult? or was it shown to him by satan himself? That reference to Isaiah 45:5 just blows Mormonism out of the water to begin with

  • This is so staged lmao!

  • CULT CULT CULT CULT CULT CULT

  • lol, sorry pal. The Latter Day Saint religion is WAY too big to be a cult. Cults are small, secretive religions that ALWAYS die out because there arn't enough members. Want to know how many people are in The LDS religion? Take a guess. Have an awesome day!

  • Because they speak and the world hears them because they are of the world, And God HATES the world :) Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life, not Joey smith

  • I agree that Christ is the only way to eternal Life. Good thing I am LDS!

  • do u believe that jesus christ is God? the only God?

  • Christ is not god, for christ is gods son. Acts 7:55- "But he, being full of the holy ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of god, and jesus standing there, on the right hand of god." that obviously shows that they are 3 different people for he felt the holy ghost as he saw jesus and god standly seperatly.

  • iam with you on this one

  • Hey Joey. give me one example of where it ever says Mormons believe Joseph Smith is the way to eternal life. let me give you something we call an "article of faith" one of 13 principals to what Mormons believe."We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel." it really stinks when people like you open your judgemental uneducated mouths. so please keep it to yourself, cause i could go the rounds on you all day.

  • Ok round one, Isaiah 45:5 :)

  • joseph smith wasnt our lord retard. he was our prophet, leader, whatever you want to call it. just as other have the pope, and stuff. we arnt any different, except that we have the whole truth, while others have pieces of the truth.

  • Round two, "may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinaces of the Gospel" LOL Ok There cant be law and Grace at the same time, by the law we know sin, but you are under grace if you have Jesus, you cant earn eternal life! So what are the "laws and ordinances of the Gospel"?

  • if got hates the world, why did he put so much effort into creating the people and places in it? and why is it so important that the people hate him? "and god so LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten son."

  • Mormon is a fake religion..... fake prophet, fake heaven, fake bible, dumb women who still think it's 1958 and lots of uptight men who never amount to anything but being dull, old and prejudiced.

  • and yourt a fag!

  • You think you are Gods, You think You can have more than 1 wife why?. You think God change the color of my skin 'cause he was angry with latin people this is absurd!. One of you Mormon relly offended me Ask me what happened.I don't believe you. All I have to do is reading the Bible and You have exchanged it for the book of mormon.Lies.

  • This has the flavor of a staged event. I don't think they are refering to an actual event. Doesn't sound right, meant to be a tear jerker.

    Anyone think the same.

  • IrishGhost, It is true that salvation is a gift from God. We are all saved from death/the grave. We will all be resurrected, but what about exaltation/eternal life? Do you think that is free too? Christ tells us that we must live our lives as he lived his, being obedient to the Father to have eternal life. We actually do need to keep the commandments.

  • Married forever in heaven?? Interesting that Matthew 22:30 says just the opposite.

Also they said that Jesus did this mostly wonderful thing...but...they had to do their part as well. We play no part in Salvation (John 3:16) it is free. Our part is making disciples (Matthew 28:19) but we are forgiven and receive salvation as a free gift no more no less.

  • When you really read the scriptures, it is clear that families are eternal.

    Eccl. 3: 14

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Matt. 16: 19 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

  • Mark 10: 9 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

1 Cor. 11: 11 11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

1 Pet. 3: 7 7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

  • Thank you for posting these references.

  • You're welcome.

  • I don't think the scripture in Matthew 22:30 is in the correct context for all marriages. He was referencing specifically to the dead woman and her 7 dead husbands who were Sadducees. Christ was talking directly to this case where Sadducees were not involved. It's easy to toss out a verse but you need to look at the context of the story respectfully.

  • correction: /Christ was talking directly to this case where Sadducees "were" involved.

  • Well, let me give it to you without acting. I have suffered numerous losses of family members, some tragic. I KNOW God will allow us to be together....and God held his promises even holding one back on this earth for me, my sister, as a testament to his word! Remember every word you speak is accountable before God smoothd73....if you know God, and he knows your heart, you'll believe too.

  • Nice acting!!! wow straight from the heart there lol

  • Joseph prophesied that Jesus would return by 1891. History of the Church, Vol. 2, p. 182.

Brigham Young said that men inhabited not only the moon, but also the sun. Journal of Discourses, Vol. 13, p. 271.

  • Hi, I just looked in my copy of History of the Church, vol. 2, p. 182 and there is no reference to the Prophet Joseph saying Jesus was to return in 1891. As far as I know, he never said anything like that. I am happy that Jesus will come again and I hope to be able to see Him.

  • Way to check your resources!

  • (Meaning, you LOOK UP the references that people use to say...well, whatever...and you take the time to REALLY digest it)

  • im confused, if you are against the church, why would you have those books and use them as resourses. just to show us how wrong we are? real mature. WE ARE SO STRONG WE DONT GIVE A CRAP WHAT YOU THINK!

  • Thanks for posting this videos! I've never watched them, though I've heard of them. It's amanzingly true how peaceful you can feel once you know that relationships on earth do not last "until death do them part"...This relationships started in heaven, before we came to this earth, and they will last eternally...

  • This isn't half as bad as Scientology. Now those people are clearly crazy!!

L Ron Hubbard got all those idiots to believe that there are between life stations on Venus and Mars. And that 75 Million years ago a evil ruler named Xemu fixed over population by killing aliens on Earth and then implanting the souls of these dead aliens with images of GOD and Jesus.

The man was wacko, yet so many believe his Sci-Fi ramblings.

Then again, Starwars conventions are always packed!!

    :-)

  • Almost as bad....

  • what does that have to do with anything?

  • Scripted. Fake. Manipulative. Hogwash.

Believe it at your own risk.

    > Why are we here?

    >>Because we're here.

    >Why does it happen?

    >>Because it happens.

  • You will regret saying that in a few years.

  • believe what you like. you want to live a miserable life - ok. at least be respectful of what gives hope to others.

  • You poor thing

  • Great video, I miss this video! Thank you for posting it! I love your great example and many others who strive to share the truthfulness of the Gospel to the world through many means, regardless of hatred, and slander from others. Why not share what makes you happy? I feel so much peace and happiness from your videos! The gospel is true and so is the message of this video! Just like the prophet Joseph said, "I knew it and I know that God knew it!" Just amazing!!!!!

  • I used to be just as arrogant and skeptical as you, maybe even more, but if you do what this couple did and sincerely ask God, as insturcted in James 1:5 you will receive an answer, I am not asking you to join our faith, but to promote good, and in doing good works. This video is not to decieve, it is simply to invite to learn more, it is your choice to not believe, I do not seek to destroy others beliefs, but I know what I feel in my heart and that is truth and this faith brings me happiness!

  • omg lmao
