i just got back from a trip down the entire rupert river. we were the first group to go down it since they closed the dam. The rapids were spectacular
I rode by this place a few days ago, i'm sorry i didn't have my digital video camera. As you see in the video, today the river on the right has no flow, its DEAD!!!
now its gone...i believe that it will not make much impact on the elders...but apon the youth of our generation..did they ever care?...did they ever think wat the youth will think?...do they even care? cause im one of the youth!! I stand for my land and for My People!....
Unfortunately, today was the last day for this majestic river ... it was officially diverted and is now part of the hydro project in the area. So the next time you turn on a light, remember that these are the kind of places that is sacrificed for hydro projects.
OH MY GOD!!! i went for a fishing trip near there like 5 years ago. about an hour away. I stopped there and took some photos. This is beyond ill Yo man would you know Dan Benoit?
