CBR is the best looking of the bunch (my opinion)and a few mods would quicken it. @ 0 to60 in 3.2 sec she's a fast bike. Main Draw back of all these bikes is poor handling. steady and stable but don't really corner quick and the response time turn to turn leaves much to be desired. I'd take the R1 over all of them. even thow I own a blackbird.. This Is a great Vid Good Job Guys. looked like fun

Yeah. I had an 02 busa. It was faster than a Blackbird when it wasnt in the garage for repairs! I sold it, got a Bird for its reliability.

@gardian1701 Same shit here, had to change all hayabusa parts to make it safe and reliable: brakes, chain, steering, wheels, suspenion, engine and the whole after body. Looks like a motogp bike now with 220hp and its just brilliant now. Did cost me about 10 grand extra. Even got single sided swingarm custom made form carbon fiber with a motogp tail, its handles like a superbike now and is faster than anything... Hayabusa best bike ever, if you replace every part :p

It's actually a ZX12.. The narrator got it wrong. He calls it a "Zed Zed R 1100" at 0:27, but at 2:04 you can see that it is a ZX12, noted by the tiny wings on the sides. But your right, these are all stock bikes, and none have the build quality of the CBR1100. I love my Bird, sucks that the stopped building them.

@lllitrehead Just got an 02 12r myself . its an a2 model with the muzzy box . its def got the legs on the busa and handles lovely . Everyone will say their gixxer or r1 will kick your ass through the twisties , sit back and let them squirm about to gain a couple of yards round the bends and laugh your ass off when you waste them on the exit lol

pgzzz yeh power to weight ratio maybe but its still slower , and i have lost count of the gixxers i have blown away oh just to let you know the k5 and k6 were the better as for the 2oo8 model it was soft . ask any gixxer boy . but yeh on twisties there is no argument about the gixxer haveing the zx12 but on the straight the zx12 will destroy it

Try a 2008/9 GSXR 1000 if you want speed - They are lighter and have more power than a ZX-12 and handle way better !!!!!

@seth8282 . Yeh it is an old film , but one thing you need to know is all bikes are restricted now , including the zzr 1400, busa , and even the gixxer 1000 . Thats why the kawasaki zx12 A1 is the faster bike . Asw i said they are all now limited to 186mph. To give you an example the newer zx12 puts out 164bhp and a 186mph. The old zx12 A1 has i82 bhp and will do nearly 200mph .. But your right it is an old video which makes the old zx12 even more impressive .
