With respect to you, I think she'd find the whole concept of making a point ludicrously outmoded. If any point is being made, it is surely the point that the point that's being made is not the point, and has never in fact been the point. It is surely the point that the point of the exercise-ie these attempts on her life points to that.
I just saw the greatest production of Attemps on Her Life ever. It was amazing! It really is a play were the director can shine, showing what he can really do since the script has no stage directions or way that you have to go about displaying the dialogue.
