Think I've missed the point; these electromagnetic waves pass through people without interacting with them in the slightest... how could they possible have any effect on the body therefore?
Show me where there is actual scientific evidence as to what a "safe electric field" is, and I'll not think this guy is a quack. 60... 90... 60... 150 what? Quick everyone google it, and I absolutely assure you that v/m is not what that meter is reading. The most humorous thing is watching all the year 2000+ US university tools be afraid of something of which they're clueless about just because they watched some joker on youtube cry about it. Congrats on your life, sheep.
is there any rock solid evidence that power lines cause a cocktail of health problems, or is it scareware? show me a good, reputable study. besides, you're contradicting yourself by being this close instead of staying away.
@HappyDiscoDeath I saw a documentary where a woman lived in a house very close to a powerline when she was a child. Later when she moved away from home she was allergic to electricity and had to live the rest of her life in the forrest in a little cottage with no electrisity. She couldnt even be near a mobile phone. So yes. It does some damage mate.......
@funnystarchild scaremongering Quack doc, I said show me solid evidence, not some article/documentary on a one in a billion case of hypersensitivity. besides, if there was a real issue, there would be quite a few more cases. this woman is the only one with a problem out of billions of people on planet earth. show me solid evidence of the dangers of electricity or any sort of EMF field, and maybe I'll take your claims seriously.
Amazing that people get scared about a number on some meter but have no clue what it means. 1 KV/m so what? We are talking about 50 Hz! 100 kV/m has not shown any side effects. High voltage with high body resistance = near zero current and near zero power in your body.
GSM radiation is different that operates at 1.8 GHz frequencies so the voltage per / is best lower.
The only danger to your health is the stress you have created in not understanding the numbers you measure.
Is your meter calibrated? Without a wired connection, one needs to wonder how accurate the information given by the meter actually is. Electrical interference is present everywhere, every day in our lives. WiFi, mobile phones, wireless internet, blue-tooth. Is it possibly the mobile phone he is using to film it that is causing the meter to show distorted readings. Keep a broad mind, there are many factors to consider when determining the source of the interference.
These high voltage power lines emit amazing levels of electromagnetic fields up to 600m from the lines. The magnetic field component of the EMFs pose a major health hazard (cancers, birth defects, Alzheimer's, miscarriage, suicide, headaches, migraines, depression). And, the negative health effects of the corona effect resulting from the power lines have been recorded up to 7km from the lines.
@MegaFactMan I would like to know the source of your information regarding cancer, birth defects, Alzheimer and depression. At what dosage? At what frequency, disatnace, field intensity and duration does it have this effect? What do you mean by health effects of corona effect?
@MegaFactMan So, the magnetic component of the EM field is stronger at even 100m than that of the emissions from the cellphone you hold one cm from your ear and play angry birds on every day? Any factual evidence whatsoever will suffice.
Everyone, and I mean everyone who believes this crap deserves the fear-filled life they bought hook, line, and sinker from the monster-criers
Ok So the equipment he is using measures in nano-teslas. The papers that WHO uses for determining exposure risk...Most Studies are done on animals exposing them to GEMF levels 1000 times the maximum capability of that meter... but not for a lifetime.
Are you using a monopole or dipole or loop antenna there ?
As I said in another of your videos, voltage fields through air are at very high impedance, and a monopole sensor with FET input is going to provide a totally irrelevent reading when compared to the impedance of a human body !
If you are using a dipole or loop antenna you could be measuring the ground current, which again would be totally irrelevent.
@OneStoneAudioPhysics The point is that the fields are still being detected by the meter from so far away. He is just trying to show how powerful those lines are. I don't know why you're dogging him.
@RegistrationCop With a good meter you can let shoot the meter off scale from a thousend meters away if somebody in the target area turns on his TV or something like that.
The problem ist NOT that you can measure anything by using a measurement device BUT to interprete the measured data in a correct way. And this is the point where 98% of the users on here fail when it comes to EMI topics.
And by the way: One does not need to measure anything to how powerful the lines are...just look at them...
Not all people get cancer! Lets take heart for example, it is pure electric signals going through the heart, dont you think it would get affected with powerful EMF
The one man who deliberately exposed himself to some of the most powerful fields and spark field radiated waves enjoyed perfect health until he was murdered in his old age - Tesla - explain.
When you read up on Tesla's work and findings you will find that he did not know what he was doing even when he physically felt the extreme electromagnetic fields he generated Eventually he figured out what they were, which many folk still do not !
So then you know that Tesla had a major disagreement with the Top Secret project to render a Navy vessel invisible, and he withdrew his cooperation because they refused to follow his suggestions.
This became known as the Philadephia experiment, and after it went wrong a full cover-up and destruction of al known files was demanded.
I've heard the philadelphia experiment stories but I also know there are a lot of liars in this world. I very much doubt that you have any even remotely good source on that story
actually yeah good point...here in Ontario Canada they are building communities so close to these main hydro transmission lines...its just something most people wouldn't think about until they got the headaches and sleepless nights
Here I am, sitting with my laptop watching this vid, thinking how terrible it is that the power line is emitting so much radiation...perhaps I should consider my laptop too!
Great vid. Really interesting. Where did you get the instrument? Are they expensive? Thanks, Adam, UK.

If you are so damned worried, why are you fooling around in the area instead of going home?
You are a damned panic merchant, you will scare yourself to death long before any EMR can do you any damage.

I can tell you...he is measuring nonsense ^^
I guess he won't be able to answer your questions as they are too scientific.
One thing I would be interested in is who defined the "safe" or "extreme" limits on this meter....
