I was born in 1971, so perhaps a little too young to fully appreciate all the fantastic music that was around then. But I certainly do bow and will spread the word with my new 80's club that I will be opening shortly in northampton. Adam x
It makes me weep that nothing like this exists today--the camaraderie, the creativity, the youthful energy, the optimism...
Now everything is damn well packaged and labelled according to a target demographic and driven by making the top dollar. No spontaneity or risk-taking whatsoever. I'm so glad that I grew up during the 80s.
This movement should never be forgotten. A briliant time, full of young, briliant people who made very unique music/art. If only i could go back.......
