At minute 2:50 he indicates that he's doing 160ish, it sure doesn't appear that fast, the scenery seems way to slow to support that claim, but? I have been at 150 in both a Supra Twin Turbo and an LT1 Corvette, both seemed faster than this video. The LT1 had a claimed top speed of 170, but I never had the opportunity, being it was Utah, Idaho and Montana roads. My current 450SL is probably only good for around 130, but it is a 79 and is stock other than 17"s

es ist immer wieder erstaunlich wie langsam ein die geschwindigkeit in einem mercedes vorkommt. ich hab selber einen und wenn ich nicht ab und zu auf den tacho gucken würde würde ich immer denken es sind vilt. 140kmh dabei sinds z.B 230kmh

wenn ich dagegen mit mein betriebs vw passat fahre hat man bei 180 schon angst abzuheben und gefühlt sind 270kmh^^

Fucking nice video man! Thats the best I ever heard a meredes sound! it sounds liked a guy knew with a Cobra GT500 Mustang with tuned pipes! would love to see one of those running the Autobanh too. Whe I was there in feb, I liked the A46 outta Heinsburg for the same reason no trucks and no speed limit. though driving to Paderborn I was blowing by trucks at 220-240 km/h at night! fastest I got that BMW 320d to was about 252 km/h, but the weather wasnt so great in feb so couldnt do it often...
