This is a really good segment, it depicts some of the pain of slavery, and we find out who Isaura's father is.
I loved this show when I was about 8 give or take a year living in the former USSR(Leningrad). Couldn't wait to get home and watch it. Makes me feel old.

That was a BIG HIT in Indonesia my country. Everyone couldn't hardly waiting for that "first telenovela in Indonesia" that played every Sunday afternoon. It was dubbed so well so we understand how the story goes. Ahh really missed that.....

Esta telenovela la pasaron en México no recuerdo el año, pero fue un gran éxito, lo mismo La Sucesora, muy buenas telenovelas Brasileñas !!! Lástima que ya no hagan novelas de esta calidad.

I completely agree with you! I used to watch it in Germany! It is much better than all this mexican and other telenovelas from south America. I also loved Sinha Moca!

God, my childhood in former USSR, Kyrgyzia...i used to wait for every serie eagerly...was in love with Tobias....read the book, it was horrible...
