@raxiboy2050 You need to make sure the sound card drivers are installed. Go to your PC manufacturers support site or the support site for your sound card and download and install the sound card drivers for your hardware. Once drivers are installed sound should work in Windows and Sound Control should work also.
@raxiboy2050 Assuming you have not drivers installed I suggest typing in the model of your PC into Google, locating the manufactures website and visiting their support pages which should have links to download the sound drivers. For example, if you had a Dell machine you could try typing "dell sound drivers" (without the quotes). Even better if you can include a model number also.
