hey just wondering a few things if you want to help me? :) So the second vers beat, like the third beat of the song if that make sense, what foot pattern is that exactly? And also like the third vers that also is played at the same time as the guitar solo, is that just 1 kick and then 5 kicks right after for like 6 times and then 1 and 6 kicks to start over agian, correct? :P
@xpertdrumr the eighth bar of the intro. i can only find a transcription that has the fill that comes in the second time but the first time there is no fill, so what's the kick for that?
@xpertdrumr ok thanks man! my very last question, what are the ghost notes playing? just all the notes between the right hand except for the notes before and after the backbeat? and are they all through?
@arthurbatera i appreciate the kind words. i checked out your videos and subscribed 10 seconds into the first one. you're an awesome drummer and i'm envious of how easy you make it look. keep up the solid work, man.

@allmetaliswelcome oooo ooo- -o-o -ooo (16th notes where "o" is the kick and "-" is a rest) hope this helps

@allmetaliswelcome you got it. and from videos i've seen of haake playing live, it seems like he keeps it going through the whole song.
xpertdrumr 3 months ago
@xpertdrumr I think Haake uses those ghost notes to keep track. Kinda like how some drummers tap their left foot on the hi-hat.

Nice footwork. First cover of this on Youtube with legit foot technique. Nice dude. Nice.

@LWPYSJ Thought i'd reply to my own thing and add, look how relaxed his feet are. People learning double bass technique... take note.

@LWPYSJ thanks man. learning this song was a great way to work on efficiency and stamina. now i just need to work on my accuracy and consistency.
