Chuck was an amazing musician. He knew when to be technical, when to use simplicity, when to be melodic, when to be really heavy and when to be relaxing and soft. He always managed to get the right combination. One of the greatest, if not the best, guitarists who ever lived. Such an inspiration to my music.
Does anyone has a logical explanation on what the lyrics throughout the song mean? (Full song, from start to end not partially)... It's my favorite song but I can't understand what they could mean... The first thing that comes to mind is that it says about someone who hurts other people's feelings maybe? But I don't know for sure...

Today it's 10 years since Chuck Past away! I seriously can't believe its already been 10 years since this great musician past away. He will always be remembered and always known as the godfather of death metal!

Lots of talented musicians die young. Many of them are tormented people that make music from pain, while others just seem like its their fate.
I often think that maybe music & sound are more than just something for entertainment. I am not religious, but what if music has the ability to undo creation or a combo of notes opens a portal to somewhere?
Maybe a higher power cannot let this happen and when someone gets close they have to leave this existence. Or whatever awaits us likes good music.

Just some Technical Metalcore. Not ALL CORES are "chug chug chug chug chug squeal and repeat". Those a specific genres of "core" bands. Post-Hardcore, and types of Metalcore. Sometimes a "core" band only adds breakdowns for publicity. A lot of Technical, and Progressive "core bands" do such a thing.
@gorthoth Damn, really? I was not aware of that at all. I like Black Metal. Behemoth, and Dimmu Borgir are fucking awesome. Sometimes just looking up anything on the internet can help increase your musical range. Just go under google, and type Technical or Progressive Metalcore/Deathcore. You'll find a lot. There's a chance that you don't like Tech/Prog "core" bands. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just HATE intolerance about "core" bands.
ok i did see a few that were not so bad.....now i like early 90s death metal the most along with the black metal and now i will admit the core i mostly like goes from 89-94
@gorthoth At least they weren't like "chugging" core bands AKA Mathcore(worst core band genre in my opinion). Maybe I am what you would call a "scene faggot" but my most favorite? I don't have one in general. Too many. I listen to a big musical range from "core bands" to Extreme Metal and every day I listen to something else. It mainly depends on my mood.
@gorthoth Never have. I don't play an instrument. I do have a BC Rich Warlock that is entirely stock. The last time I fiddled away on it, probably 5 days ago and before that 3 weeks.

@gorthoth I'm being a little humble. I'd say I'm not awful at uber simple chugging opens. That's it. I'm not egoistical, I would never want to start a band. I don't have a big friend-basis in real life either. Am I going to be a one-man guitarist? I would have to get really good. I don't even have the desire to practicing for 5 years.
i see what your saying its just i never learned from a teacher all i did was buy a guitar and learn by ear and started making my own riffs and record them so i would not forget them and then i found people who wanted to play and presented my riffs to them so that we would already have something and then we started simple

Just some Technical Metalcore. Not ALL CORES are "chug chug chug chug chug squeal and repeat". Those a specific genres of "core" bands. Post-Hardcore, and types of Metalcore. Sometimes a "core" band only adds breakdowns for publicity. A lot of Technical, and Progressive "core bands" do such a thing.

@gorthoth Damn, really? I was not aware of that at all. I like Black Metal. Behemoth, and Dimmu Borgir are fucking awesome. Sometimes just looking up anything on the internet can help increase your musical range. Just go under google, and type Technical or Progressive Metalcore/Deathcore. You'll find a lot. There's a chance that you don't like Tech/Prog "core" bands. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just HATE intolerance about "core" bands.

@gorthoth At least they weren't like "chugging" core bands AKA Mathcore(worst core band genre in my opinion). Maybe I am what you would call a "scene faggot" but my most favorite? I don't have one in general. Too many. I listen to a big musical range from "core bands" to Extreme Metal and every day I listen to something else. It mainly depends on my mood.

@gorthoth I'm being a little humble. I'd say I'm not awful at uber simple chugging opens. That's it. I'm not egoistical, I would never want to start a band. I don't have a big friend-basis in real life either. Am I going to be a one-man guitarist? I would have to get really good. I don't even have the desire to practicing for 5 years.
