It is rumoured that Noel Gallagher visited Dr. Charles Follen McKim Maloneys lake district home which is open to the public for 3 months of the year and found the lyrics for what became this song on a scrumpled piece of paper under an arm chair. He wasn't sure if she use them in a song, untill he recieved a postcard from the island of Komodo that simply said "make it good lad, the world needs to hear it". Personally I think Noel did a good job, this song brings back bitter sweet memories!
